Welcome to the INKspired Artist 44 Blog Hop, I am so happy to be participating in these hops. You might have come from Louise Sharpe and I am sure you love what she has made.
Here is the sketch that we had to work with, designed by Teneale Williams, I was excited to use it was I had done a water-colour class this week and wanted to try it out for myself. Don’t you just love learning something new? Yes even at my great old age…………..lol.
Here’s what I made and I love it, its was so relaxing to do.
I use the Penned and Painted Stamp Set on shimmer White Cardstock, using white embossing power to stamp down the flowers and leaves, one at a time. Have you found how when using versa mark on white, it’s rather hard to see where you have stamped.
Here is a closer look at just how it looks, where you can see the beautiful details.
I choose to use some of the softer colours of Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz, sponging over each of the area’s with a sponge. after I had sprayed it lightly with water. Next I used the aqua marker to highlight the flowers, you can make these as light or as dark as you want.
Your now off to see what Teneale has made for you. Don’t forget to leave some comments for the girls, we all love comments.
Here is a list of what I used which you can purchase in my shop.
Great card Barbie girl! The colours are great but have you noticed our cards are kind of similar? I made mine first 🙂 so I think it is safe to say I inspired you. LOVE YOU. SO excited for our mini holiday to Brissy.
You may have made yours first, different stamps and technique. Just followed your sketch.
Lovely card Barb, I too love embossing and then sponging colour over to make it pop.
GORGEOUS! Love your watercolouring 🙂
What a stunning card Barb love this technique.
