Rogue Stamping fun

Am at day three of a on line Crafter Class Spring 2022, tomorrow will be the last day. Thought you might like to take a look at some of the cards with techniques I have made.

This was an interesting concept, cannot say its my favourite one as it had lots of paper piercing in it. I lost some of my bits and had to do two and three cuts of the flowers to get them right. Teneale would have loved it.

Using a die as dies are intended, following in is another use of this die
Embossing & Inking with Dies.
Die embossing on a piece of water color paper from my stash. I rather like the cracked look of the raised images.

Day 2 No-line Floral Card

Teneales Favorite one, more like her style.
The flowers are water colored, one tip, you need very fine brush’s to make them look realistic. #loveAltenew #AltnewAccademy
Inside of the card using the beautiful forage.
Another use of the Dies with the famous stripy bits.

Hopefully be back tomorrow with days 3 and 4. #altenew #altenewAcademy

Inkspired blog hop 149

Hi and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired Artists. Time is flying by and before we know it its going to be Christmas, so what better to make than a Christmas Card.

I choose to use the Poinsettia Petals Stamp and Dies on page 92 of the Annual Catalogue. I used a 1/2 sheet of White cardstock and sponged about two thirds of it with Cherry Cobbler ink on rest I sponged with Old Olive ink.

Using the dies with the insert and outlines I die cut the petals and lives, not the leves where stamped before cutting.

I made the Poinsettia Petals the my shape, the white and the piece across the front and the picket at the bottom of the white.

Lets go see what Julie has made for you.

Gifting Dies

Help me, I have forgotten what week we are up too. I do know that they are galloping away at an unbelievable pace.

Sorry we are late this week as my little Baby Bear has not been well.

This week its the Gifting Dies that are on page 61 of the Christmas Cattie. We both loved the little slay and Santa, thus only having them.

I had in my mind that I wanted to have Santa flying through the trees as he delivered all the children’s presents so choose to use the beauty of the Earth Designer Series papers as a foundation.

Whilst there are trees on the paper, i tool the Beauty of Friendship stamps and stamped them onto the designer papers.

I then attached Santa to the front, for the inside I just put a sentiment and some threes

The next card was quite simple and with both cards I have used the sentiments front eh Christmas to Remember set out of the Christmas Cattie on page 19.

Now here is my little Santa, standing so proudly in the middle of the card. Super cute.

Anther greeting from the Christmas to Remember.

Now lets see what Teneale has for you.

Non Traditional Christmas.

What a great idea to have a non Traditional Christmas Blog Hop and I am so pleased that this year Stampin Up has brought out some amazing bundles.

I choose to use the Whimsy and Wonder Bundle and as the paper is so beautiful I had that the feature of my card.

Soft Succulent is the base for the card and then Misty Moonight which has the Designer paper attached to it.

Rather special greeting, embossed in Silver and die cut out before attaching with dimensionals to the front.

The inside has a strip of the designer paper at the bottom and one of the bubbles has been fuzzy cut.

I hope you enjoy the hop and lets see Julie Martin has made for us>

Trees in Nature

Welcome to our 79th blog hop, amazing.  I hope your all had a lovely weekend, I know I did, some of my lovely ladies from my Friday class came to my place for their 4th Saturday class, it’s a lovely relaxing afternoon, sharing our love of stamps.

Teneale always makes a sketch for us to give us some direction and allows us to extend our creativity by designing a card around this sketch.

Heres what I came up with, using a rather fun technique that I had used in one of my classes with autumn leaves, so I knew that the Rooted in Nature stamp set would be just great.

Little tip for you, if you decide to use glue to attach the oval onto another oval, then as it’s not sticking just how you want it to, DO NOT, stick it under your craft mat.  It gets moisture in and sucks some of the color off your work.  Me I just thought that it added character.

On the inside, I used my Stampin’ Markers to color the tree, and the little greeting.

Hope I can encourage your creativity and have a great week, your now off to check out Teneale’s card, I have seen it and its awesome.

BlogHop 77

Welcome, Easter has been and gone, now the kids are on school holiday, WOW how time flows.  Last weekend we attended Stampin’ Up! OnStage at Luna Park, where we get to see the new Catalouge for 2018/2019.

It’s always a great and often exciting time for us, especially this year as not only did we get some great stamp sets, we also go to see the beautiful new colors coming on the 1st June.

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight, I loved it.

As soon as I had received this stamp set, THANK YOU Stampin’ Up!, I know I would love to color him with my Blends.  Lets go check him out.

How stinking cute is that, I’m calling him Hippo, and I think he’s a little like me………lol

I choose to us Light and Dark Smokey Slate Blends and added extra shading by using the Blends Color Lifter.  My little bird was colored with a new color called Dark Pineapple Punch Blends and his beak in a touch of Calypso Coral, under Hippos feet I used light Old Olive Blends to add a touch of grass.

I am so happy with how he turned out.  The colors used were Whisper White, Pineapple Punch, Soft Gray and Dark Gray.

The stamp set is called Animal Outing, and as well as him there is a sweet Giraffe head a Kangaroo with Joey in his pouch as well as a branch with a little Foggy on it.

I used to color the branch was the light crumb cake for the branch and touches of light old olive on the leaves with some shading of the crumb cake on the leaf.  The little frog was Pineapple Punch with a small touch of Old Olive on this trunk.

Little secret about to be revealed, when Teneale was younger she had the nick name of Froggy, so this to me belongs to my froggy, as together WE MAKE A GREAT PAIR.  Its her birthday tomorrow and I think she would like this for her birthday card.  What do you think?

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for you.

BlogHop 76

Hello and welcome to this 76 BlogHop on this lovely Easter Sunday. Now you would expect that we might do an Easter Card………………Sad Face, no I didn’t.
Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us to use, I rather like being given a sketch as a starting point for a card.

I decided to pull out an older stamp set, Sweet Cupcake, been sitting on my desk and though as I am always after birthday cards I should use it.

Now as you might realise, its a 3 step stamping set, Grrrrrrrrrr you say.  Not a problem with the new Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus.

I have miss placed my original one, but still had one of the plates, I must have put it in a safe place and am sure I will find it soon.  Anyway I have just received my second one, so no problem, I was able to set up the 3 stamps one on each please and on the opposite side the ice for the top of the cake.

Now how easy would that make your class?

Now did I get the sketch right?  Please leave a comment, we love comments.  Good or bad.

Hope your had a lovely Easter, I know I have.  Kids have just gone home after being stuffed with Chocolate.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Bloghop 75

Welcome to our blog hop tonight, hope your all had a lovely weekend with family and friends.  If your just come from another blog, its most likely the delightful little mumma, Renee who’s work is nothing short of exquisite.

Each fortnight Teneale designs a sketch for us, sometimes we are seriously challenged and other times its ok.  Do lets go see what I have done.I must say, I looked outside my circle here, opps did I even use a circle? I think not.

I thought I would use a flower for my circle, mainly because I love coloring, whether it be water coloring , pencils or Blendies.  I choose to use Shimmery White cardstock and heat embossed the beautiful large flower from the Beautiful Day Stamp set.  I have to tell you it was one of the last sets I bought because I thought the lines where just to wide.

However like all things we change our mind and I now love it and wondered why would I not like this?

I used white embossing powder to emboss the flower, this gave me lovely raised edges for the pools of color to collect in each bud allowing me to get some deep and some light petals.

I then cut out the flower and mounted it on the lovely Petal Passion Black and White designer series papers for a striking effect.  My color of choice was Berry Burst reinker, I think its lovely.

Inside was just finished with a part of the flower and colored.

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Blog Hop 62

Welcome to the 62 Blog Hop of the Inkspired Artists, and if your just started here, Welcome.

Blog Hops are a great way to make us step out of our comfort zone and come up with some amazing projects, that in turn gives other stampers some inspiration.

So lets see what Teneale has given us to work with.

Yeah, Holiday Catalouge is due to showcase on the 1st September, who is excited?  I know I am and couldn’t wait to get my hands on some new stamps.  So come and see what I have done, mind you not traditional Christmas Colors.

I had my eye on the Santa’s Suit set, even sat it on my desk along with Good Tidings which I was a little intrigued with as it appeared to have six steps to stamp the image.  I knew I had to try it to at least know what it would look like stamped out.

So I used the new Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which is 6 x 6 perfect for quilting designs.  I choose as my colours the beautiful new in colors of Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig and brought in some Crumb Cake.  I carried the colours through from stamping to card stock and then added a small piece of Gold.

I embossed the sentiment at the bottom, I always try and do exactly like the sketch.  but feel that it might have shown better if I had used just the white and embossed on it.

I tried to carry the theme over into the inside as well, see below.

Embossed and same trim as the front, don’t you love our new ribbons, beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by, now your off to check out Teneale.

If you get lost along the way, here are the participants.
