INKspired Blog Hop 108

Hi and Welcome to the 108 colour Blog Hop, if you have arrived from one of my other team members its most likely Kozue and I wonder what she has made for us today.

This is a colour challenge and I have to admit I battled with the scheme.  One reason was that we didn’t have purple posy and the stamp set had chosen was one of the distinctive stamps which I couldn’t use s a stamp and mark pen.

I decided to go mono chromatic and just used card stock and dies out first frost.  That was even a problem as I have lost the large die out of the set .

Now your off to see what Jo has made for us today.

Inkspired Artists BlogHop 107

Welcome to the INKspired blog hop, it has been an eventful week for me this week after taking my first trip in an ambulance after collapsing but I am healing and trying to take it easy. I am so happy I was organised and made my card for the blog hop a few weeks ago. It was a fun sketch.

Here is my card using the sketch from Teneale, I have used #Elfie Cling Stamp Set and coloured him with Stampin’ Blends.

I have white embossed the greeting on Old Olive cardstock and think it looks great.

Here is the inside of the card, I just adore the die of Santa with his reindeers which is from Jolly Season Dies set.

For a change, I am linking into the amazing Allison McLeod

INKspired Artist Color Combo Hop106

Hi and welcome to another Color Combo Bloghop.

The colors were Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and Basic Gray.  You can see I dropped the Crushed Curry.

Here’s my take on the colors, hope your find inspiration.

I choose to use the Parcels and Petals Cling Stamp Set and Dies and ran the stamped image through the Big Shot with the Textured embossing folder.

Now your off to see what Sharon Arklay has created for you.

ESAD 2019 Holiday Catalogue sneak peek blog hop

Thanks for stopping by on the Holiday Catalogue blog hop with some of my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, there is 25 of us all sharing wonderful ideas showcasing new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue.

I am a fan of a classic Santa image, so when I turned to page 26 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue I was stopped in my tracks by this stunning Santa plus the stocking and this greeting that I have used below. I have surprised myself a little by not colouring this jolly little man, instead, I have clear embossed him on Cherry Cobbler card stock.

I continued the embossing by white embossing the greeting in white on Basic Black and to add a blackboard feel I rubbed a little Whisper White Craft Ink over the top of the embossing.

Inside the card, I have again the blackboard feel with the greeting which is also from Holly Jolly Christmas and cut it out with the Merry Christmas dies.  Notice that stamping behind greeting, that was stamped in Crumb Cake with an image from Tasteful Textures.

The second card I have to share is showcasing Yummy Christmas on page 23. I used my Stampin’ Blends to colour the gingerbread house, in Crumb Cake combo (house), Smoky Slate light (shadow on frosting), Real Red (Candy Cane and Bow), Soft Suede (Gingerbread man), Rococo Rose (Candy and icing) and Sea Side Spray (Windows).

The photograph is not showing the texture, I embossed the stamped layer with the Subtle embossing folder.

In the card, the greetings on the front of the card and inside are from Christmas Gleaming on page 31.

I know this is a Holiday catalogue blog hop but I need to bring to your attention that the dies from Cuckoo Clock coordinates with the Yummy Christmas stamp set! How wonderful is that?

In the Annual Catalogue, you can see Cuckoo For You Stamp Set, this is interactive and I HAD to share that with you also.

Above you see the little door… If you push the strip up

You find a little surprise.

I am so excited to show you more from the Holiday Catalogue, right now you can continue on the blog hop by hopping over to Angela Meiritz-Reid

InkSpired BlogHop 104

Hello and welcome, not sure if your come from Kozue, or just landed here all by yourself, either way I very happy to see you.

Below is our sketch for this week,.  So lets go see what I have made.

We had recently had a weekend of classes, using the Sailing Home Stamp set and dies, one of the cards had a Buoy on the front of the cards, so thought I would do similar.

Using the layering circles onto one piece of white card stock,  I cut out a circle and surround circle, which I used to make the buoy with.

Now if you looked at the sketch, it needed a bow, so I used the die to cut out the knot, because a knot is a sort of bow, right?

There were to be two layers, on embossed and one the designer papers.

So here is my finished card……….however can you see something missing?  mmmmmmmmmmmmm I never really get anything quite right it appears.

Yes, I forgot the sentiment, do you think its ok with out one or is the one below better?

Well maybe this limits the person receiving it, but hey Birthdays are great.

I have left the inside blank, so you can write a nice message.

Did you know that Teneale and I do classes?  Want to attend any, message me and I can put you on the list.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you.  All I can say is Beautiful……..
