InkSpired BlogHop 104

Hello and welcome, not sure if your come from Kozue, or just landed here all by yourself, either way I very happy to see you.

Below is our sketch for this week,.  So lets go see what I have made.

We had recently had a weekend of classes, using the Sailing Home Stamp set and dies, one of the cards had a Buoy on the front of the cards, so thought I would do similar.

Using the layering circles onto one piece of white card stock,  I cut out a circle and surround circle, which I used to make the buoy with.

Now if you looked at the sketch, it needed a bow, so I used the die to cut out the knot, because a knot is a sort of bow, right?

There were to be two layers, on embossed and one the designer papers.

So here is my finished card……….however can you see something missing?  mmmmmmmmmmmmm I never really get anything quite right it appears.

Yes, I forgot the sentiment, do you think its ok with out one or is the one below better?

Well maybe this limits the person receiving it, but hey Birthdays are great.

I have left the inside blank, so you can write a nice message.

Did you know that Teneale and I do classes?  Want to attend any, message me and I can put you on the list.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you.  All I can say is Beautiful……..

InkSpired Color Challenge 103

Hi and welcome too our 103 Bloghop, as we have been mixing it up a little, this week is another color challenge.  Not sure if your started here or come from Kozue, cannot wait to see what she has for us.

Teneale gave us very soft colors, which at the time I enjoyed using, however I found that the Soft Sea Foam a little difficult to show in the photo.

I used the stamp set called Very Versailles Stamp Set plus Path of Petals Stamp Set and the Petal Label Dies.  I cut the label out using vellum and attached to Woven Thread in Sahara Sand ribbon.

I choose to use the Sharing in your sorrow sentiment for the front of my card.

Inside just the beautiful sentiment.  Please find the strength for today and peace in tomorrow, such beautiful words.

Thanks for visiting my site today and now you off to see what Teneale has made for you.

A Little inspiration for a wild rose.

To a Wild Rose, one of my favourite stamp sets, plus it comes with dies.  This sentiment in the stamp set is grate to sent to a friend. “I cherish you, my true friend, I know I can always count on you.”

I have been known to buy a stamp set just for the sentiments and this would have been one, however I love the flowers to.

We randomly stamped one of the flower outlines from the set and then colored with the Blends, before running it through an embossing folder.

Attached a little litter behind the sentiment to add sparkle.

Inside is just a little part of the flower in the corner.

Hope you like it.  Please leave a comment in you do, we like comments.

Bye for now.

Mens Cave

Hi everyone, though I would share with you a sweat card I made in one of my classes, have to admit, we have done a couple of variations to this set.

Not sure, but I would think this could be the man cave, what do you think?

Its colored with the Blends.

Butterfly Wishes

Don’t fall over, I have decided to show another card that I had made, what is the use of having a blog if I don’t show you what I have been upto.

Butterfly Wishes is one of the Distinctive Stamps in the new Stampin up Catalogue.  Such a easy stamp to use and coupled with some designer paper.

Yeap there is a trend here, love the Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape inks.

Thanks for stopping bye.

InkSpired Bloghop 102

Hi and welcome to another blog from the fabulous team of Teneale Williams.  She is such a great upline, she encourages and nurtures me and her team, if you are wanting to join Stampin’ Up!, now is the time and I would encourage you to join her team.

She runs the blog, team challenges and generous prizes to participants of her team, considering she doesn’t have a upline and never has had anyone to guide and nurture her, she thinks its important that her team don’t miss out because she has.
So that was the design she has made for us this fortnight and here is my take on the sketch.

I choose to use the beautiful Band Together Stamp Set and the Detailed Bands Dies, I thought that the top and bottom of the stunning die, was perfect to get the fancy edges and the Celebrate the Best Day Ever perfect the for greeting.

I embossed the Gorgeous Grape cardstock with Silver Embossing powder and attached to silver foil, trimmed to a fine border that attached the designer series papers in color 2019-2020, I used the Purple Posy Gingham Design that was then trimmed and mounted onto the Gorgeous Grape base.

The greeting was heat embossed using clear embossing powder, but wait, its Purple you said? yes I stamped it onto a piece of what cardstock using the Gorgeous Grape ink and my Stamparatus to position it perfectly which then allows me to go back and using VersaMark, stamp and then add my clear embossing powder.

Little of Teneale has rubbed off on me, showing you my fine lines and I did them all by myself.

Now your off to see what Teneale has in store for you.

InkSpired Bloghop 101 Color Combo

Welcome to the INKspired blog hop, challenge 101 and Teneale is mixing it up by giving us our first colour challenge.  Our colour challenge is a little different to most, we have been given 4 colours and are able to decide what colours of that we wish to use. The colours for this round are Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy.

I decided to use the first three colours, this one was the first time playing with Rococo Rose which is one of the new In-colours and I love it. That is not really a shocker to anyone who knows me because I love anything pink.  I used Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set for the background and even the greeting.

I have used my goto die, the Stitched Labels Dies. I just adore the detail around the edge.  Now, look behind that layer and check out my triple layers of ribbon! I am going all out on this card and I have used Rococo Rose 1/2″ Scalloped Linen, Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile and Line Thread.

Inside the card, I have simply stamped the largest flower along the bottom.

Next up is Jo Wilson, who is off travelling the world and made sure her card for the challenge was made before she left.
