Peacful Place Suite

I loved this set from the beginning, was my first buy, if you like it also, you will find another card here on my blog.

I choose one of the designer papers for my background that was white with embossed silver trees on it. This formed the bases of the card, I then took another piece of the designer papers that had the little houses on it and fussy cut them. Now they are easy to cut, as you know I do not fuzzy cut much.

I then stamped down the cottage on Sahara Sand cardstock and using the same ink color. I did it twice. Taking the dies that do the outline of the house. Next I cut the second piece with the cottage details and outline together, as well as the die to make it look a little bit more like a landscape.

Inside i stamped two of the trees and the greeting, if you love this card please leave a comment.

Now your off to see what Teneale has done.

Lets Celebrate 150

Happy Birthday Girl

Lets celebrate 150 bloghop events of the InkSpired Artists.

I chose to use the cute Hats Off stamp and dies to make a super cute hat for my youngest grand daughter, who incidentally just loves caps.

Now her favourite color is Pink, so what better then using paper from the expressions in ink, such beautiful papers.

I stamped in black on polished pink cardstock, keeping in mind that she loves Pink.

Cut out her initial of E in Gold. Using the beautiful papers made a pouch to put her gift card in.

Lets go see what Julie has made for us today.

Painted Christmas Suite

The Painted Christmas Suite, is a double bundle suite of the Christmas Season Bundle and the Christmas to Remember Bundle. I have used the Christmas Season Bundle which is the stamps and the dies and the Christmas to Remember Stamps from the second set.

C

I used the Painted Christmas Designer Series Papers cutting them into a square for a change, mounted on Evening Evergreen cardstock.

I used a strip of the Gold out of the Gold and Rose Gold Metallic Specialty papers down the side of my card and put a ribbon trim on it.

On the inside I used one of the greetings and just stamped in a leaf.

Now we are off to see what my partner in crime has made, she always blows me away with her beautiful attention to detail and quirky little bits. Off to Teneale

Merriest Moments

Life gets in our way and we find ourselves a little late with this hop. We choose to use the Merriest Moments Bundle, which you can find on page 43 of your mini catalogue. Its quite a unique set which has dies and embossing folder that work so well together.

I first of all took a piece of white cardstock and taking my blending brushes, blended the colors of Cherry Cobbler and Old Oliver. I then took the outline die to cut out.

I then took a another piece of White Cardstock and put into the Hybrid embossing folder and cut it out. It was then attached to the colored cut out. I might add that I attached both of them to a embossed cardbase.

Silver embossing complimented the front of the card.

Now your off to see what my partner in crime Teneale has done.

Inkspired blog hop 149

Hi and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired Artists. Time is flying by and before we know it its going to be Christmas, so what better to make than a Christmas Card.

I choose to use the Poinsettia Petals Stamp and Dies on page 92 of the Annual Catalogue. I used a 1/2 sheet of White cardstock and sponged about two thirds of it with Cherry Cobbler ink on rest I sponged with Old Olive ink.

Using the dies with the insert and outlines I die cut the petals and lives, not the leves where stamped before cutting.

I made the Poinsettia Petals the my shape, the white and the piece across the front and the picket at the bottom of the white.

Lets go see what Julie has made for you.

Gifting Dies

Help me, I have forgotten what week we are up too. I do know that they are galloping away at an unbelievable pace.

Sorry we are late this week as my little Baby Bear has not been well.

This week its the Gifting Dies that are on page 61 of the Christmas Cattie. We both loved the little slay and Santa, thus only having them.

I had in my mind that I wanted to have Santa flying through the trees as he delivered all the children’s presents so choose to use the beauty of the Earth Designer Series papers as a foundation.

Whilst there are trees on the paper, i tool the Beauty of Friendship stamps and stamped them onto the designer papers.

I then attached Santa to the front, for the inside I just put a sentiment and some threes

The next card was quite simple and with both cards I have used the sentiments front eh Christmas to Remember set out of the Christmas Cattie on page 19.

Now here is my little Santa, standing so proudly in the middle of the card. Super cute.

Anther greeting from the Christmas to Remember.

Now lets see what Teneale has for you.

Be Jolly

Well, another week has passed us by, we are now out of lockdown and transferred to another type of stress.

I started with water paper so i could water color it, however half way through changed to use Blends.

I then had my trusty fussy cutter help out. She didnt like the water color papers, as its stiff and rather hard to cut.

Lets go see what Teneale has for you.

Blog Hop 148

Non Traditional Christmas.

What a great idea to have a non Traditional Christmas Blog Hop and I am so pleased that this year Stampin Up has brought out some amazing bundles.

I choose to use the Whimsy and Wonder Bundle and as the paper is so beautiful I had that the feature of my card.

Soft Succulent is the base for the card and then Misty Moonight which has the Designer paper attached to it.

Rather special greeting, embossed in Silver and die cut out before attaching with dimensionals to the front.

The inside has a strip of the designer paper at the bottom and one of the bubbles has been fuzzy cut.

I hope you enjoy the hop and lets see Julie Martin has made for us>

Tidings of Christmas Suite

This week Teneale and I using the Tidings and Trimmings Set from the main catalogue, page 89 if you wanted to check your cattie.

We are no at week 3 of our 12 weeks Blogging.

I used the colors of Cherry Cobbler for my base card, then a layer of Sahara Sand, which I used one of the papers from the Designer paper pack

I stamped my greeting with Cherry Cobbler, I think its a great greeting for the card.

I then took a piece of the designer paper as a trim inside with a greeting from the set.

I also did a second card using the Just Jade and Evening Evergreen. Interesting enough i had said i wasn’t going to buy the Evening Evergreen ink and Blends, now I think they are my favorite color.

Designer paper cut and attached to a piece of Sahara Sand that had been put through an embossing folder (hope its current or will be in strife) which as then attached to Evening Evergreen and then mounted onto the card base of Soft Succulent. Just checked, I am in luck, its called Tasteful Textiles 3D I am in luck…..

I again choose the Wonderful time of the year for the front and cut out using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Used both the designer paper and a piece of the Sahara Sand that had been embossed on the inside. I hope your enjoying our different takes on the sets.
