Thanks for stopping by on the Holiday Catalogue blog hop with some of my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, there is 25 of us all sharing wonderful ideas showcasing new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue.
I am a fan of a classic Santa image, so when I turned to page 26 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue I was stopped in my tracks by this stunning Santa plus the stocking and this greeting that I have used below. I have surprised myself a little by not colouring this jolly little man, instead, I have clear embossed him on Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I continued the embossing by white embossing the greeting in white on Basic Black and to add a blackboard feel I rubbed a little Whisper White Craft Ink over the top of the embossing.
Inside the card, I have again the blackboard feel with the greeting which is also from Holly Jolly Christmas and cut it out with the Merry Christmas dies. Notice that stamping behind greeting, that was stamped in Crumb Cake with an image from Tasteful Textures.
The second card I have to share is showcasing Yummy Christmas on page 23. I used my Stampin’ Blends to colour the gingerbread house, in Crumb Cake combo (house), Smoky Slate light (shadow on frosting), Real Red (Candy Cane and Bow), Soft Suede (Gingerbread man), Rococo Rose (Candy and icing) and Sea Side Spray (Windows).
The photograph is not showing the texture, I embossed the stamped layer with the Subtle embossing folder.
In the card, the greetings on the front of the card and inside are from Christmas Gleaming on page 31.
I know this is a Holiday catalogue blog hop but I need to bring to your attention that the dies from Cuckoo Clock coordinates with the Yummy Christmas stamp set! How wonderful is that?
In the Annual Catalogue, you can see Cuckoo For You Stamp Set, this is interactive and I HAD to share that with you also.
Above you see the little door… If you push the strip up
You find a little surprise.
I am so excited to show you more from the Holiday Catalogue, right now you can continue on the blog hop by hopping over to Angela Meiritz-Reid
