Awash with Flowers, an often overlooked stamp set, which recently retired. It’s a wonderful two-step stamp set which I love. It’s a stayer for me. This card was made in one of my classes on Friday for the ladies to give to their husbands for Fathers Day.
We used the Lion out of the Zoo Review stamp set by Stampin’ Up!. The set is a great one to use for all males and would make a great birthday card for all the little boys as well, what boy doesnt like the zoo animals?
We used Very Vanilla Cardstock, mounted on Early Expresso Cardstock with the colours of Early Expresso, Soft Suede and River Rock inks.

Another card using the wonderful Creative Elements Stamp Set, this time focusing on the butterfly stamp in the set.
I used Rich Razelberry and Wild Wasabi Inks along with Whisper White and Rich Razelberry Card stock. Who doesn’t love butterflies?

The colors used were, Wisteria Wonder, Rich Razelberry, Perfect Plum and Elegant Egg Plant for the Flower and the flourish was stamped in Wild Wasabi and then using a marker some of it was colored in. Do hope you like it and i will be back soon.
This is another stamp that I got in the set, out on the golf range, I also used the Stampin’ Up! “Lovely as a Tree” one of my most favourite sets, which I often use in some of the scene type cards. I used Old Olive and Early Espresso on the Neutrals Ivory Cardstock.

Saw this rather cute stamp the other day, and thought it would be great to make some for my grand daughters school for father’s day. I used Cajun Craze cardstock and Ink to stamp out the old man, what a craggy face he’s got, just like a pop or grand dad don’t you think?
I am a great lover of the Natural Ivory Cardstock, and used this as my bases to stamp onto. Nice quick little card and great for bulk stamping. Enjoy, I will be back with another tomorrow.
Had this stamp set in my stash and never used it. Thought now is the time to get out some of these stamp sets and use. I love two-step stamping, but cannot use a Stamp My Jig if my life depended on it. Have been known to completely stuff a class trying to.
I used Baja Breeze Ink and Pear Pazzazz and stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. I then cut them out, used the stem of the other flower in the set as the base to hold my flowers, which I attached then too. Now can you imagine being told that my card looked like an anorexic stem with breast enlargements on it………………were would you come up with that from…………………told my friend to just go leave me alone and I packed up and went to bed………. might add by this time it was 1pm and yes they should have gone home anyway……………………..right….lol
This morning not being one who likes to through anything out until i have seen if i can salvage it, decided to charge ahead with me creation. This is what I ended up with! What do you think?

I recently attended a Stampin, Up! Conference in Canberra, one of the major events is the swapping of cards. This gives us inspirations to help keep our creative juices flowing. I hadnt realised just how hard it is to produce card after card until i started to run my own classes. Have to tell you I love doing them and helping ladies learn the art of making their own cards.

Suggested Greetings: Loving Thoughts or Well Scripted
Instructions: Fold your base card in half.
Take piece that is 9cm x 9cm and put through the big shot using the Vintage Wallpaper folder. Then cut into 3 pieces, equally. (at 3cm) Take these at attaché to the piece of cardstock that is approx 10cm x 15 cm to the outside side firstly slightly in from each boarder and just equally down from the top. Then position the enter piece.
Bearing in mind that your greeting will be at the bottom with part of the flower hanging below the ribbon, choose one that doesn’t extend right across the card. After stamping your greeting attach your ribbon, secured at the back of the card front with tape. This card front can now be attached to your Card……………………………easy and the ladies love it.
Stamp a flower on cardstock and punch out. Stamp a centre on to crumb cake using crumb cake in and using the circle punch to cut it. Attach the circle to your flower ( you can mount this on just tape to the flower) Put a pearl in the middle of the circle. To make the little bit of ribbon sticking out of the flower, i just used a piece of ribbon that was 15cm long and looped it then stuck with tape. This is then attached to the back of your flower, which then has foam mount attached to it. Lastly attach to your card.
Here is another spin on my Baby Prints, item no 125472. I used some Stampin’ Up! designer papers along with Brushing Bride Card Stock, and stamped on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Got to love how it all goes together.
