Wetlands

I love the Wetland Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! there are so many different ways to use it and it makes a nice card for males. Yes I know it’s hard to find something for them.

So what do you think of this one?

For this card we did a little of the triple stamping to get the grass, duck and the bulrushes to work.  We also stamped the duck onto a piece of soft suede card stock and then cut him out and mount him onto the card.  I love the Hessian (oops Burlap) that is being used on cards now, very much in vogue.

Most cards here are made in classes held on a Friday at the Creative Spirit Centre in Minchinbury.  We also love new people.  Bookings essential.

See Ya Later Alligator

Alligator Want a stamp set that is a classic?  I remember as a little girl my dad saying as he went out to work on the farm, See Ya Later, Alligator.  I would answer, in a While crocodile. So you can imagine how exited I was to have this stamp set.

Who was famous for this song? Do you know? It was Bill Haley and the Comments

In this set is another favourite of mine, You make me happy when skies are gray, yep, would sing this to my children. I promise I will go make a card for this.

This is one of the free stamp sets you can get when you spend just $90.00 on Stampin’ Up! products. Want to buy on line. Santa, He is Making a List

Santa (2)

Who doesn’t love Santa Claus. As a child the year seemed to drag until Christmas Time came around and my mum, God Bless her always tried to make it special for us, as if my dad had his way this would have been a none event. I have always been very fortunate that my husband didn’t feel the same as he knew how much this had upset me as a child and he always encouraged me to get what every I wanted our children,

For years I have been wanting to make a Santa that was a bit furry lol. Now I have finally got my own way and yes he is furry. The girls in my class on Friday are in for a treat making this card.

Luxury Christmas

Barb

Again the use of the Joyful Christmas Stamp Set by Stampin. Up!, this time it was using both whisper white cardstock, don’t you love how well it looks embossed?

I used Vellum to stamp out the poinsettia twice then hand cut them and mount them one on top of the other, adding a few little pearls to the centre. I used Smoky Slate Cardstock for the base of the card and stamped the greeting in the Smoky Slate ink and added a touch of silver ribbon.

Enjoy and don’t forget this was a card taught in one of my classes on a Friday morning. Contact me if you would like to attend. Bye for now.

Joyful Golden Christmas

Nov 25 142

How stunning does this look, wouldn’t you like to receive a beautiful Christmas Card like this.

I used the Joyful Christmas stamp set and the versatile new print stamp set by Stampin’ Up! at one of my recent card making workshop. The colours of Cherry Cobbler and very vanilla Cardstock, with some embossing in gold to show of the beautiful poinsettia.

I will be showing you more sets using this stamp set as I found it very versatile to use to produce an array of different cards.

Should you want to have your own workshop and make a wonderful Christmas card, please contact me. Will be back soon.

Bye the Tide – one for the guys

2013-11-15 09.24.26

Love Bye the Tide stamp set, however I found if missing from my desk, so had to put off making it until I surfaced again.  Does that happen to you crafters out there?  I bet it does, I can have a stamp in my hand and then it disappears from site, even though you know it’s on your desk.  I guess I need to tidy up a bit and not buy ever stamp set that Stampin’ Up! bring out.

I do hope you like it and if you’re wanting to attend any card making class, I hold mine on a Friday morning in the Creative Spirit Centre in Minchinbury.  Please contact me to make a reservation.

How cute is this card?

A friend I work with has a daughter living overseas and wanted a card for her with an aussie theme.

I secretly think Mum is missing her daughter and was trying to remind her that Australia is her home and as she is working in a Zoo overseas I thought this would be appropriate.

What do you think?
