Hi and welcome to another InkSpired Bloghop, boy the weeks are rolling on, can you believe we are approaching Easter and then Anzac Day, however before that I have Teneale’s birthday, Easter, Terrianne Easter Sunday, so you might say I have a full month.
Here’s our sketch for this week.
From when I first saw this sketch I knew it would be a breeze. I was able to use my favourite die on it, that’s the adorable little scallop die from the “Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.
I chose to use the Graceful Glass 6 x 6 Designer Vellum and colored on the back of it with Calypsol Coral Dark Blender and Dark Apple Green, then flipped them over and again colored with the darker shades, then used the lighter shade to get some shading happening.
Attached my vellum onto a piece of Whisper White which had been cut with the scallop on the bottom and I left a small edge on the top, then took a small strip of glitter paper, cut finely and attached above the scallop… All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack, contains the sweet ribbon trim, so wish I could have just bought that on its own, its so nice to use.
Using the stitched Rectangle Dies I cut out a piece in Flirty Flamingo and attached to Apple Green base, mounted onto thick Whisper White.
Hope I have inspired you to go coloring.
Now your off to visit Julie Martin, a new blog member, please leave her a message to give her some encouragement as she is very nervous.
