Good morning and welcome to our 30th Blog Hop. We had the girls in last night to help put up the Christmas Tree and have a little party fun. It was lovely as Bailey had made our shopping list of what we were going to have for tea. Earlier in the day I had met her and her mum at the shops and she helped shop and then as we got closer to home, we rang Poppy to come out and help use carry it all in. Teneale often laughs if she is with me and finds it amusing that I announce my arrival.
If your already started on the blog hop then your most likely arrive here from the famous Louise Sharp whom I am sure has wowed you again.
This is the image that we had to work with from our industrious leader Teneale, rather enjoyed creating my card and hope you enjoy.
Lets see what I have come up with, you will notice that I am using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set again. This is the one set I had said I wouldn’t buy, think it was the last one that I hadn’t bought is more to the point. Now I love it as its such an easy set to use in many different ways.
I used Lost Logoon as my base card and Pool Party as the card front, which had been embossed with that lovely Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, that I am so please is carrying over to the next mini catalogue what is coming out on the 3rd January………………………whose excited to get their hands on this new catalogue along with the Sale-a-Brations catalogue.
I used a water colour wash on my water colour paper to create a background, that was after I had embossed my images onto the water colour paper. Left it to dry for quite a while, then cut to the side I needed and mounted it to whisper white card stock and trimmed. Like the corners I used Corner Rounder, new in the Holiday Catalogue. Such a kool tool to use. I used the merry as my attachment of a circle and Velum as my stripe.
I am really pleased with this card and might just pop of an create another one or two, who wouldn’t enjoy receiving this in the mail.
Enjoy as your off to the super talented Teneale Williams and I wonder what she has in store for you.
Here is a list of what was used in this project. You can buy directly from my shop.
