Inkspired blog hop 149

Hi and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired Artists. Time is flying by and before we know it its going to be Christmas, so what better to make than a Christmas Card.

I choose to use the Poinsettia Petals Stamp and Dies on page 92 of the Annual Catalogue. I used a 1/2 sheet of White cardstock and sponged about two thirds of it with Cherry Cobbler ink on rest I sponged with Old Olive ink.

Using the dies with the insert and outlines I die cut the petals and lives, not the leves where stamped before cutting.

I made the Poinsettia Petals the my shape, the white and the piece across the front and the picket at the bottom of the white.

Lets go see what Julie has made for you.

Gifting Dies

Help me, I have forgotten what week we are up too. I do know that they are galloping away at an unbelievable pace.

Sorry we are late this week as my little Baby Bear has not been well.

This week its the Gifting Dies that are on page 61 of the Christmas Cattie. We both loved the little slay and Santa, thus only having them.

I had in my mind that I wanted to have Santa flying through the trees as he delivered all the children’s presents so choose to use the beauty of the Earth Designer Series papers as a foundation.

Whilst there are trees on the paper, i tool the Beauty of Friendship stamps and stamped them onto the designer papers.

I then attached Santa to the front, for the inside I just put a sentiment and some threes

The next card was quite simple and with both cards I have used the sentiments front eh Christmas to Remember set out of the Christmas Cattie on page 19.

Now here is my little Santa, standing so proudly in the middle of the card. Super cute.

Anther greeting from the Christmas to Remember.

Now lets see what Teneale has for you.

Non Traditional Christmas.

What a great idea to have a non Traditional Christmas Blog Hop and I am so pleased that this year Stampin Up has brought out some amazing bundles.

I choose to use the Whimsy and Wonder Bundle and as the paper is so beautiful I had that the feature of my card.

Soft Succulent is the base for the card and then Misty Moonight which has the Designer paper attached to it.

Rather special greeting, embossed in Silver and die cut out before attaching with dimensionals to the front.

The inside has a strip of the designer paper at the bottom and one of the bubbles has been fuzzy cut.

I hope you enjoy the hop and lets see Julie Martin has made for us>

Welcome, Easter has been and gone, now the kids are on school holiday, WOW how time flows.  Last weekend we attended Stampin’ Up! OnStage at Luna Park, where we get to see the new Catalouge for 2018/2019.

It’s always a great and often exciting time for us, especially this year as not only did we get some great stamp sets, we also go to see the beautiful new colors coming on the 1st June.

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us this fortnight, I loved it.

As soon as I had received this stamp set, THANK YOU Stampin’ Up!, I know I would love to color him with my Blends.  Lets go check him out.

How stinking cute is that, I’m calling him Hippo, and I think he’s a little like me………lol

I choose to us Light and Dark Smokey Slate Blends and added extra shading by using the Blends Color Lifter.  My little bird was colored with a new color called Dark Pineapple Punch Blends and his beak in a touch of Calypso Coral, under Hippos feet I used light Old Olive Blends to add a touch of grass.

I am so happy with how he turned out.  The colors used were Whisper White, Pineapple Punch, Soft Gray and Dark Gray.

The stamp set is called Animal Outing, and as well as him there is a sweet Giraffe head a Kangaroo with Joey in his pouch as well as a branch with a little Foggy on it.

I used to color the branch was the light crumb cake for the branch and touches of light old olive on the leaves with some shading of the crumb cake on the leaf.  The little frog was Pineapple Punch with a small touch of Old Olive on this trunk.

Little secret about to be revealed, when Teneale was younger she had the nick name of Froggy, so this to me belongs to my froggy, as together WE MAKE A GREAT PAIR.  Its her birthday tomorrow and I think she would like this for her birthday card.  What do you think?

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for you.

Blog Hop 53

Welcome to yet another Inkspired Artists bloghop, you have most likely come from my friend Maree and I wonder what she has created for us today.

Great sketch that Teneale  has given us to work with, don’t you just love her work?

I decided to use the Birthday Blooms as my stamp set, its lovely to water color and always look great.  I used Watermelon Wonder as the main color for the flower and Delightful Dijon for the centres.  The leaves were colored with the Cucumber Crush, not a color that I have used a lot, however as it was St Patricks Day this week and there is a lovely young girl at work who is having a birthday in April and she is Scottish I thought it only fitting to make it for her.  Hope she likes it.
I have used the Cucumber Crush as the main card base and the paper is from the in color designer Series paper stack, which will be retiring this year.
Enjoy and don’t forget to leave a comment, even one word is fine.
Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you, I was lucky to see it and your going to love it.

INKspired Artist Blog Hop 26

Here we go it’s a long weekend and John’s birthday so its been a busy day stamping on Saturday.  If your come from another blog your most likely arrived here from the super talented Louise  and I know that she will have blown you away with what she has created.  If your backed up your most likely come from another super talented person and that’s Teneale.  Wow I feel rather special today to have two talented artists around me.  Maybe it might rub off on me.

Enough ideal chatter, lets look at this sketch and see what we should do with it.  I for one rather liked it and once I have the colours I took off  like a rocket.

Barbara Williams

I choose to use the definitely Dahlia stamp set as I thought its a nice large stamp and if it was stamped down then it could be sliced in two.  Then looked for a sentiment that would go with it, come look at what I have done.

Definitely Dahlia | Word of TruthBarbara Williams | Stampin UP | Sydney |Definitely Dahlia | Word of Truth

I have two sisters and I wanted them to both know that I love them, as we get older we don’t often think to tell people that we care.   I choose to use the Words of Truth to tell them to Remember that I love them.

Blue and Pink

On the front I embossed the word “Remember” and on the inside I have put the words “I love you”.   Such a small sentence but for me a very important one, we don’t see each other lots as life is hectic and taken up with my off springs.

Now its time to nick over and see what Teneale has in store for you.  Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to leave a comment or two.  Actually I am not begging one,s fine.
