Just Breathe

I was so excited to receive one of my latest investments. Its a ShotBox from WeRMemoryKeepers, to take my photo’s instead of getting someone else to do them for me.

So I am so going to be able to get more cards on my blog as well as work out how to improve my photograpy.

I choose a new stamp set called Reflected in Nature, its a Distinktive stamp meaning that it has added depth and dimension in the stamp and your able to get a beautiful image.

I choose Misty Moonlight as my main colors, stamping twice on the top part of the stamp and only once on the bottom, as it is to be a reflection from the house and trees into the water.

We are all living in a difficult times at the moment and i thought this was a great stamp to just make and post to someone to let them know we are thing of them. in the inside I put, Take Time for you.

Enjoy

INKspired blog hop 144

Hi there and welcome to the Inkspired bloghop 144, yes I know your thinking she hasn’t played all this year, and your right. My blog is powered by WordPress and they changed the whole format of it and I have only just come to turns with having to learn something new.

See below the sketch designed by Teneale Williams and lets go see what I have made.

I decided as we are going to be locked down longer that it was a good time to start some Christmas Card making, I chose the Tidings and Trimmings Stamps and Dies from the main Catalogue.

I used the following ink colors of Cherry Cobbler, Misty Moonlight, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen and did a random stamping of the Star over the whole card front.

After stamping it, I put it through the beautiful Timber 3D embossing folder, if you don’t own it you should put it on your list as a necessity.

I took small stripes from the designer paper, Tidings of Christmas, stacked them on top of each

On the inside i carried through the strips and using my blend pen colored the back ground before stamping the greeting.

Thank you so much for visiting my block and your now off to see what Julie has made for you.

Color Challenge

Hello and welcome to the colour challenge of the INKspired Artist’s, our leader Teneale Williams called for colour suggestions to create challenges and I gave her Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, Merry Merlot and Basic Gray.

When this challenge rolled around I turned my nose up at the colours until I realised I gave these colours!

They are very festive so I went with for a Christmas card.

I am loving the layering of Best Plaid Builder Dies

Mango Party

Welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop, we have a colour challenge this round of Old Olive, Mango Melody, Pool Party and Pretty Peacock.

I decided to use these colours for a fun and fresh Christmas card. Well, it started with me creating the background by punching out Tailored Tag Punch this is a good way to use up smaller pieces of cardstock.

Then I stamped Joy to the world from the Peace & Joy stamp set.

Next up on the INKpsired blog hop is Katrina,

Ornate Garden

Hello and welcome to another bloghop with the InkSpired Artists.  This time Teneale gave us all 6 pieces of the beautiful cardstock from the Ornate Garden Suite.  Terrible i lost mine………..lucky I have my own stash.

Ornate Garden

I decided to take some of it and cut up, i chose 3 pieces to cut and because its just so beautiful it gave me 6 patterns to use.

After cutting them i just laid them down on a card front to make sure i liked what was happening and if i like it.

Then turned each piece over one at a time and glued them and placed on a piece of White cardstock.  left them to dry a little and then trimmed to 9,5 x 13.9 and stuck this to a standard card front.

I had been having so much fun with it and i love coloring, i decided to use another piece and just color it, as you can see below.  The gold highlighted this card.

Hope your found some inspiration and will go off and create your own colorful cards.  Now to see what Teneale has made for us.

Welcome, happy to see you visit my site for this fortnights BlogHop with the InkSpired Artists.

This is the sketch below, that we have to use.

I choose to use the Jar of Love Bundle, had held two workshops with my partner in crime at the weekend and so whilst i was inking up the stamp i stamped an extra for myself.
Stamping Barb card Jar of Love

Used a couple of embossing folders and brought out the old blends to color.

Popped an extra hand cut flower on the bunch, adds a bit of dimensional to the card.

Tasteful Touches

By Barabara Williams | Tasteful Touches Stampin' Up!

Welcome to our InkSpired Blog Hop, not sure if your starting here or have come from on of my team mates.

Colours are Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron and/or Soft Suede and the stamp set I choose was Tasteful Touches.

By Barabara Williams | Tasteful Touches Stampin' Up!

I stamped two of the flowers in Pretty Peacock, then coloured them in with the Mint Macaroon, the other one I just stamped in the Mint Macaroon, then my dear sweet little die cutting person used her scissors and expert cutting skills to cut them out……………I am just so lucky to have such a talented cutter…..lol

I used the beautiful feather out of the set for the back ground and i also used the brick for some of the background.
