Mothers Day Idea

Purple Notebook IdeaThis is a great little notebook that my wonderful upline did a couple of weeks ago. Oops, she did the lovely raffled ribbon on hers.  Mine is with unraffled ribbon, my motto is I do simple.

We have used the wonderful Bliss from the Sale a Bration Cat.  This is a great little gift that can easily be put together for that mothers day stall that will be on soon.

Thanks for looking

Only get what you pay for

What a great lesson I learnt today. Am going to make some craft items for my grand daughters school.

Just what you pay for

Using the Sizzix Die, I cut up some pre Stampin’ Up! card stock and proceeded to crush it around in my hands, then taking my unpicker and used it to split the cardstock in half, bet all you old ladies like me remember these.

Image my surprise when the centre of the cardstock was white, not the pretty pink I had wanted to use.  Yeap, only got what I paid for and intend to put this horror flower in my kit to show my lovely ladies at my next party what happened.

Oh well onto the next challenge, using Stampin’ Up! cardstock.

Bye for now.

Printed Petal

Hope you like this card, its from the Printed Petals Stamp Set.  I had been very keen to use this set, however as i am sure a lot of your card makers know, to want to use a set and to actually use it are two different things.  I am however extremely happy that used this set.  Just takes me longer to work out what to do……….am sure I am not on my own there.

I have used the colours of Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist on Whisper White Cardstock.  I also used the Perfect Polka-dots Embossing Folder and displayed the reverse side.

The printed paper came from the Joly Holiday pack.

Happy Birthday

I used Awash with Colour stamp set, yes its really new and I maybe need to use it a little more, but on the whole I like the image I got.   I had tried to use the glitter with it, however its really the wrong type of stamp to do this with, so will look at other sets we have.

Colours used were, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist and Old Olive.  I love the Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist, they are lovely fresh colours.  Trust you like this one.  Many thanks for looking.

Owl’s that

Boy, is Teneale onto me, pushing pushing pushing, owls that………..lol.

I do hope you like my little owls, its one of the free stamp sets you can get for spending just $100.00 on your order.  I am waiting for your order…lol.

I used the Punch Bunch stamp and the Thanks out of the So Happy for You stamp set.  I also used the Bird Punch for the branch, the Owl punch to punch out my owl and the Modern Label for the thanks.  Dont you just love the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  You can see it in the new Mini Catalogue on page 17.

I used Old Olive cardstock with Whisper white and a piece of designer paper from the Play Date pack.  Markers i used were Real Red, Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.

Looks great i think, got the tick off Teneale…………yeah

Hey, celebration is here in more then stampin up, there is much celebration in our home, you might say i feel some Bliss.

My darling daughter is on the road to recovery, she told me, mum, its celebration time, so you need to sit down with me tonight and make a card for our blog.

Right i said, not a problem…………..lol

Here is my card, hope all like it.  Take care and yes i feel some Bliss.

Remember When

Here is my second card using the wonderful little girl from the Summer Mini Catalogue the stamp set is called Easter Blossoms.

I used Chocolate Chip Cardstock as my main card, Pretty in Pink which had been embossed using the Stampin Up Petals a Plenty embossing folder.

I used the Confetti Cream Card Stock to stamp the girl I used both the Rose Red Marker on the girl and the Old Olive marker on the grass area, after stamping down my little girl, I again stamped her on a post it note so that I could cut her out and use her as a mask to then stamp my blossoms, after using the markers on the stamp.

In the inside i just used very vanilla card-stock, stamped the blossom lightly to one side.

Hope you like it.

Springtime Smiles

Springtime Smiles

This is one of the new stamps from the Mini Catalogue which I have fallen in love with.  It was one of my first choices to buy.  Yes i know its because i dearly love my two daughters and two grand daughters, how lucky am I to have them in my life.

The name of the stamp is Easter Blossoms, but i feel that you could use it for a birthday card or just a hi there.

I used Rose Red Cardstock as my main card, sponged with versamark, mounted Pretty in Pink which had been embossed using the Stampin Up Petals a Plenty embossing folder.

On the Very Vanillia Card Stock To stamp the girl and the motive, i placed both of the stamps on my clear block, making sure that they were placed in right spot for me to stamp them down together.  Thats the beauty of using the clear mount stamps.  I used both the Rose Red Marker on the girl and the Old Olive marker on the grass area.  I then used soft suede for the quote.

In the inside i just used very vanilla card-stock, stamped the blossom using the Versa Mark and attached.

Enjoy, will be a back tomorrow with another spin of this little girl.
