Beau Chateau Simply Soft

Need a special card?  Beautiful and elegant.

I used the two-step Simply Soft Stamp Set, that is one of the ones you can get when you host your own Stampin, Up! workshop. But you need to be quick,…………lol as the new catalogue will come out in September and there will be a whole new lot of hostess stamp sets for you to choose from.

I used the Simply Soft Hostess set to stamp out the image, it’s a two set stamp set and just about anyone can create a gorgeous card like this.  I also used the Beau Chateau Designer Series Papers and the Marina Mist Grograin Ribbon, this also will retire come 1st September 2012.   The cardbase and one of the decorative trims used the Baja Breeze Cardstock and I stamped the images onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.

I used the Framelits Dies Labels collection 125598, which consists of 6 dies, which are just divine aren’t they.  Didnt put a greeting on as this can be customed for the occasion.  Do hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Tinny Hands Baby Prints

When attending Markets I am often asked for a baby card, of which i dont have many. So you can imagine my delight when Stampin’ Up! brought out the stamp set called, Baby Prints, item no 125472. I used some of the paper from the Baue Chateu series along with Brushing Bride Card Stock, and stamped on  Very Vanilla Cardstock.

I faux embossed the card with the buttons embossing folder.  Looks great dont you think.  Got this idea from the very talented Beht Stewart, here is her blog for you to check her work out.  http://www.elisabethstewart.com/

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Mixed Bunch – Convention

Here is the card that replaced my one for Convention this year, I used the colours of Blushing Bride and Whisper White for my cardstock.  Stamp sets were, Field of Flowers for the stem of the flower, Mixed Bunch for the flower and the word set used was Sweet Cake.

The flowers were cut out with the beautiful Blossom Pun and the Scalloped  ribbons border Punch was used across the bottom of the card.

Because I wanted to be able to share a card with fellow stampers and also receive some back, i decided to redo the swaps.  Not too bad if I do say so.

Enjoy.  I have lost more to show so promise to post more regular now as I am learning to take and crop my own photo’s……..lol

Field of Flowers Lost

Field of Flowers

This is the card that I had made to take to Convention in Canberra, I had used the beautiful stamp set called Field of Flowers, which is just beautiful. I had used Concord Crush and Wisteria Wonder cardstock and inks as well as Lucky Limeade Marker. Sad this is, I had made them ahead of time and put them in a safe place……………..lol

They are safe, that safe that I had to go to convention without them and make different card for convention, which i promise to show tomorrow night.

Once they are found, yes that will happen, then I might be able to emboss, yes they were all embossed, but added to the quote of “My thoughts are happiest when you’re in them” I could add maybe a few with Mum, Grandma, Nan, Aunty and the list goes on.

What do you think?

Pendant Parade Punch

This is a card that I made using the Pendant Punch, wanted to show some ladies the usefulness of using a punch to cut out, as it had been commented to me that they could just cut out some triangles to make flags.

The colours used are Real Red, Bashful Blue, Pear Pazzaz and Pacific Point.

I used the wonderful markers to colour in the Celebrate.  Card stock was Real Red and Whisper White.  Enjoy will be back tomorrow.

Array of Sunshine – Louise Sharp

At a recent Team Training night, had the fortunate opportunity to meet a young lady who is really like a little ray of Sunshine, who has joined the our Stampin Up Team. She had made and brought to the meeting a lovely card using this stamp set and gave it to her upline.

Now it isn’t the same as mine, but she inspired me with how she went about making it.  Team meetings are great aren’t they, lets a lot of fellow stamper’s share ideas.   This is my spin on her card, i choose the colours of Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade and Wiseria Wonder…………..such yummy colours.  Created my own designer papers with the stamps from the Array of Sunshine, a lovely hostess stamp set that is available to anyone who hosts a workshop of and reaches the qualifying amount.

Hope you like this card.  Thanks for looking.

Two Quick Cards

Another set of quick cards that I made using some designer papers. We created two different cards, this one with my favourite little boxes and the other one was paper cutting a certain flower from the designer paper and mounting it in a card front.

Learnt my lesson, they are quick cards, but my ladies were able to complete them super quickly, so I had to think on my feet and give them another one without a sample. They come through with flying colours and I will now make them slightly harder or is it more detailed.

Age Card for Boys

I was recently asked if some of my ladies could make some age cards for children.

This is what I came up with, very easy and great for markets.  I used the a background stamp with Versa Mark to add texture to the card, sponged the sides with Versa Mark then using Black Stays On I stamp out the Happy numbers form the stamp set called, “Bring on the Cake”.

I also did a Pink version of this, see below.

Sale a bration – Fresh Vintage Stamp

Sale a bration, which I refer to as celebration is a great time for stamper’s to purchase Stampin Up products. This year is no exception opps it is an exceptional year as Stampin Up have also included Designer Series Papers and Ribbons and Brads to the collection.

For this card I have used both Fresh Vintage Stamp Set, 125117 and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Papers.  I used Crumb Cake as the basis for my card, trimmings Calypso Coral and the beautiful Velvet Ribbon.  The Velvet Ribbon is in the Mini Catalogue.

Enjoy and good night, or in my case, good morning, its 4 am and I should be in B E D
