Celebrate your Youth

Celebrate FathingYet another of the wonderful stamp sets out of the “Feeling Sentimental” stamp sets out of the Sale a Bration Stamp Sets.

Hope you like it and it brings back lots of memories of younger times.  Imagine trying to ride this bike, for the younger ones, they were called Penny Farthing, the front wheel was just so large and the one at the back so little.

I again used crumb cake and black cardstock and the vintage lace with cream ribbon.

Sale a Bration Feeling Sentimental

CelebrateRemember When?

This is one of the wonderful stamps that you can get free up to the 22nd March when you spend $100.00 on Stampin Up products.  Interested, then I can help you.  Please either emial me at stampingbarb@gmail.com or ring me on 0416 089 239.

I used the wonderful newsprint designer paper with Crumb Cake and Early Expresso Cardstock and Early Expresso Ink.

The stamp set is one of 3 in the Feeling Sentimental Stamp Set, I will show the other two over the next couple of nights.  This is to make up for being slack.  The other set used was the Vintage Verses which is one of the other sets you can get for free up to the 22 March 2013.

Thinking of You

Thinking of you, what a great card to make and have one hand. Thinking of you, means lots to me, I think of the wonderful people who I have met on my Stampin Up journey, some from as far away as Canada and Jordan in Utah. Now you girls know who you are and I cannot wait to see you all soon.  Then there are my stampin up ladies, some that attend my class every friday, others that I see ad hoc.  I so enjoy my time with them showing them new techniques and ideas.

Others are like school friends, whom you might not always contact, but some of them are with you through out your life, like one of mine whom i had spoken to for a year, time just flys bye and you think Hey I had best ring so and so.

I love this simple card as I can use it lots.

I used the Pleasant Poppies Stamp Set and my Square Punch and Postage Stamp Punch.  I used Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, embossing the images with White Embossing of the images

Thanks for stopping bye.

Postage Travel

Now for a little something different but the same. Double dutch? Not really, I choose to use the Postage Due Stamp Set again.

Again i used the Crumb Cake cardstock and Ink, however this time I added Real Read Cardstock and used on of the edge embossing folders.  I rather like the effect that I was able to create.  These founders can be found on page 188 of the main catalogue, the set is called Delicate Design Folders and they are only $15.95 for the set.

I do hope you like it.  Lovely quick card.

Thanks for looking

Morning Post

Evening everyone, yes it’s a bit like i have been missing in action.  However it’s more like I have just been a little lazy and not put pen to paper or fingers to blog might be more like it.

This card as one that I had made for display board, already had a photo and I should have updated it along with a few others, that I still have lurking on my blog but not published.

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the base of my card and Crumb Cake ink pad for most of this card.  The stamp set is called Postage Due, #126597 on page 108 of the main catalogue for 2012-2013.  I also used the new postage stamp punch to punch out the postage stamp images and placed them to one side on the card.

I do hope you like it and I promise to post another tomorrow night, still using the Postage Due stamp set as I like to let you see different ways that you can use them.

Pleasant Poppies

Pleasant Poppies is another one of my favourite stamp sets from the Stampin’ Up! 2012-2013 Catalouge, you will find it on page 72 and the clearmount one is just $24.95.

You got to love the price, over the next couple of days I be showcasing different ways of using this Stamp Set. Keep an eye out for the updates.

For this one I used Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and white embossed the stamp set on it adding a touch of white ribbon and a sentiment cut out with a oval punch and mounted on a scalloped punch.

Another quick card.  Love it.
