Boys will be Boys

Boys will be Boys

I was very excited to buy this stamp set called Boys will be Boys, 134138 in clear, its such a fun set to use.  I don’t think its contained just to boys, I know my grand daughters love to use them but they use girly colors.

I used this as one of our class cards a few weeks ago and the ladies loved it, we used Memento Ink as the bases of colouring then used our Stampin Up Markers to colour.  You could also use bendability’s to colour them, they are the newest colouring system made  by Stampin Up.

I have been told its time to update my blog………….. So here goes, I know its been a time since this was done. For this set I used Papaya Collage, very sad to see it leave us with the retirement to make way for the new catalogue. Now I am sure that they will be others that we will all fall in love with, but for now I stamped out multiple one so I can still make a card using this set. Love the frame and as my ladies called it the “Maiden Fern” yeap, showing our age now.

Want to attend a fun class, I hold social card making classed each Friday at the Creative Spirit Centre in Minchinbury, why not think about attending one Friday. But be sure to let me know your coming so we have a card pack ready for you.

Kick up your Heels

SONY DSCHad so much fun making this card today.  Half my class of ladies go line dancing on a Thursday night and they were the reason I had wanted to use this stamp set called Bootiful Occasion.  They are such a fun lot of ladies and are always out having a good time together.

I choose to use Real Red as the main colour for the boots and dress, just love the little dotty dress and we embossed the boots to add a little extra sparkle.  What do you think?

Showed them how to turn their card front into looking like a room instead of just being a flat uninteresting front.  What do you think?  Did I achieve my desired effect?

Listed below are some of the products but not all of them used today.

Bootiful Occassions Sunshine

SONY DSCI am feeling very happy tonight as I found my Bootiful Occasions Stamp set which had gone missing for nearly two weeks. I searched hi and low but it wasn’t to be found. I was beginning to think that it had run away with Camel who had been to visit me with Maree Hutton from Cooma.

When I had given up looking it appeared in my lounge chair…………….opps that shows how long its been since I sat down to rest. I think it right to say that the sunshine had come out when I found it.

This is one of the cards that will be taught in my class today.

Recently Teneale Williams and I held a joint new catalogue launch, in fact we held it over one week in tailing 3 days.  What a great time everyone had, they got to play with the new products, of which there are many.

I will endeavour to showcase some of the displays that we had.  I love love love this die and stamps “Just Sayin”  See it below, comes with both the stamps and the dies.

Happy Congratulations So very Verstatile

The very first card I made from the new Seasonal catalogue was this one called Happy Congratulations.  I used the clear stamp set.

Another version of the Happy Congratulations stamp set.
I also used it at a recent Australia Day Celebrations were people could come and make their own card.  They had the choice of two different colour scheme’s that they though reflected Australia.
Found it was a great ice breaker to start communicating with the person about to make their card.  Tell me, what colours do you think represent Australia?
