inkspired-sketch-blog-hop-5

Hi again, I really appreciate you coming to check out this week’s challenge and i have to say they certainly go very quickly and  if your landed on here, you have most likely come from Teneale Williams- and this is our fifth Blog Hop for the INKspired Sketch Blog Hop Team.  I know you will have enjoyed her card as much as we do.

Our challenge was to produce a card using the design below.

sunday 16 November sketch

Here is my spin on the challenge that I loved doing, hope you do also.

INKspired Blog Hop

I choose to use the Sweetbriar Rose single stamp set, colouring the stem of flowers with Pumpkin Pie Blendabilies along with Old Olive.  This was then nestled into an oval shape, which I had cut using my oval framelits and using my diagonal embossing folder created a texture on the page, I then used Daffodil delight ribbon to form the panel at the bottom and using my diamonials attached to a rectangle of Whisper White Cardstock before attaching to Old Olive card base.

I then stamped part of the stamp set on the inside and again coloured with my blendablities.  Just loving them, takes me back to when I went to school………………..lol

Colouring in, takes me back to my childhood memories and how I had wanted to be a teacher.  Maybe now I am actually fulfilling ambition to do that by teaching cardmaking.  You never know.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s card and get some inspiration to start creating one just the same.

Love Paris and Dream

Love ParisDo you ever look back at some of your cards and think, gee that was a great card.  Oh and shock I never shared it?

This is one of them cards, I had originally done it for a display for someone and then forgot about it.  Though I should share it with all in blog world.

You can buy the stamp set in either wood, clear of MDS, see below.

Birthday Wishes

Scalloped Birthday

I love the Striped Scallop die and the effect and dimentions that it adds to my card, perfect to hold soem flowers off don’t you think?  Just a little hint when using your Striped Scallop die, put some greaseproof paper between your die and the cardstock, with such intricite dies, its often harder to remove the cardstock from the die.

I stamped some flowers out in Cherry Cobbler using the Beautiful Bunch and Flower Shop, then inking up Petite Petals in Blushing Bride.  Such a easy and quick card to make.

INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 4 – A little Blending

Hello friends, if your landed on here, you have most likely come from Teneale Williams- and this is our fourth Blog Hop for the INKspired Sketch Blog Hop Team.  Not sure what she had in store for us today, am sure i will enjoy it any way.

Sunday 2 November Sketch

Basically the sketch was quite simple as you can see above, I hope you enjoy my spin of this design.

INKspired Blog Hop | Blendabilities Flowers

I had attended 4 of Teneale’s Bendability Classes recently using different colour pens.  This lead me to thinking that I could incorporate some of my flowers into my design this week.  I used a digital flower out of the Stampin’ Up! MDS called Fabulous Florets, it was always one of my favourite stamp sets.

In this we used a stroking technique which made it easy for anyone new to Bendability’s to use.   I do hope you enjoy it.

In keeping with the two prior cards, I want to again showcase the versatility and beauty of Blackberry Bliss, you must excuse my meagre writing tonight, have lost my post twice.   As the stamp set is a two step, I used it to show of how you can get a second and third generation stamping.  Love how it turned out.  Don’t forget to come see what we make on Sunday, as its our next blog hop.

Sunday 19 October Sketch

This is the Sketch that was the inspiration for todays card.  Below is mine.

INKspired Blog Hop 3
INKspired Blog Hop 3

This weeks sketch was basically using a tag, I have some 300 tags already cut and ready to go, so why reinvent the process I thought to myself.  I love the Tag punch that Stampin’ Up! brought out in the last catalogue, makes it so easy to have tags on hand which you could make into tags or book marks.  Yeap I am organised for the.

I so love Blackberry Bliss and wanted to show you some of the variants in colour that your able to get using different ways of apply the inks.

I just inked up part of my Pleasant Poppies stamp, opps that’s slightly wrong, I had cut it into three so I choose one of the stamps and using my blender pens, inked the stamp up and after stamping id on my tag, then used a blender pen to blend the colour.  Love the effect, hope you to too.

I cut out another set of tags to go behind the stamped one little fiddle but so worth it.  Added lace, twine and popped it on the card.  Hope you enjoy this weeks blog hop.  Don’t forget to leave us all a short comment, everyone enjoys comment.

Now of to check out Cherie Davis and what she has created for you.  Fun isn’t it!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT, I really LOVE IT Teneale………….lol

Want a Flower Patch?

2014-09-04 20.45.27

The new catalogue of Stampin’Up brought to us some wonderful stamp and coordinating dies.  One of them that I love is the one called Flower Patch.

One of our team members Janelle Taylor brought some cards that she had made for her ladies with sets for the team to make and this was mine.  I love what she has made and I then used it with my ladies at my class.

See the list of products used in this card and if you would like to purchase any of them, by clicking on the item and that will take it directly to my shop.   I will be back to show you another one.
