INKspired Artist Blog Hop 20

Week twenty, hard to believe that we have been hoping our way around the bloghop for over 40 weeks…………… now where has the time you ask? I for one don’t know. Anyway to celebrate the 20th Bloghop, Teneale  has kindly offered a stamp set to a luck blogger who comments on all blogs, so make sure you make the rounds and comment on each and every blog.  It will be drawn on the 19th July, so make sure your left all comments by that day.

Now this is our sketch for this week, I have to say, I did battle, couldn’t commit to a stamp set, then couldn’t decide on the colours or background for my base card. Anyway let’s go see what I have come up with.

Week 20 Sketch

I chose to use the Birthday Blossoms stamp set , love the sayings on it, like “a day all about you”, “The best day Ever” a beautiful happy birthday and have a beautiful birthday.  Now how nice are they.

I loved the details of ribbon for my strips, and the attached lace.  Now to show the whole card……….enjoy

 Barbara Williams Hop20
I choose to use Sahara Sand card front and the base I used Pear Papazz cardstock and stamped on Whisper White.

Now for a little look inside I have just kept it very simple with the birthday greeting and a little bit of the stamp.

I wonder what Kabrina has in store for us, that girl is just amazing and I just love to see what she has come up with for you this week.

I am in love with the Vintage Leaves and the Leaflets Frames and wanted to use them for my card, I do hope you like them.

To make this card I used Black Cardstock for my base and the main card.  Using Versamark stamped randomly over my base, then applied clear embossing powder to embosse, this gave it the lovely shinny effect.  I then used a thin strip of the Corrugated Paper to add to the front of the card.  You can use this in place of ribbon, I for one cannot do bows so tend to steer away from ribbons.

I then used 3 different stamps and inked each one up with different greens.  In this card I used Old Olive, Wild Wasabi and Always Artichoke, after stamping them, I cut with out using the thinltts.  Don’t you just love that Stampin’ Up! have bought out lots of thinlits that allow you to quickly cut out your images.  I then sponged around the leaf to take away that white line and make them appear more real.  These were tired together with a piece of twine and attached to the front of the card.

I then used a piece of Craft Cardstock to cut out the greeting from the Greeting Thinlits.  What do you think?  looks good doesn’t it and such a petite greeting, this was attached using Glue Dots, I just love these dots.

INKspired Blog Hop Sketch 19

Welcome to the 19th INKspired Blog Hop Sketch, so please that you all return each fortnight to check it out. If your landed her from Teneale’s site, what did you think of what she has made for you? Great wasn’t it.

I have spent the last two weeks traveling up and down to Cootamundra.  Whilst driving I kept thinking of wild flowers, not that I saw any but they are favourites of mine so thought this sketch could be used to my advantage by using Wild Flowers.

Week 19 Sketch

It’s a free and easy design and I was able to create what I thought was a perfect shape to put some flowers in.  What do you think?

Barbara Williams

I choose to use Wisteria Wonder as my main colour both in ink, ribbon, buttons and cardstock.  Very self explanatory and I love it.  I must admit I had taken a gorgeous ribbon from Teneale that she hadn’t used as most likely it had a crease in it or wasn’t perfect…………………..hey, I am not perfect so it suited me to a T.  That can be Teneale, Type, Terrible, Terrific and the list goes on for T.  Did cut it to fit my base but other wise I had everything done for me………….now how lucky is that.

I love love love this stamp set and would recommend it to anyone who likes pretty stamped flowers.  It’s just so easy to use and is two-step so you are able to ink each stamp individually and as its see through your able to place it down at the exact right spot.

Next up is  Cherie and I wonder what she has for us this week.

Week 18 Sketch

So what do you think of this sketch?  Your allowed to leave a comment or two, so don’t be shy.

I have used the gorgeous butterfly dies a few times in my classes, everyone loves butterflies don’t they.  I also wanted to use the new brick embossing folder as I had used it in a class on white card stock and it looked great.

I tripled layered my butterfly, cutting out the body, then two of the cut out ones, one in Bermuda Bay and the other in Silver Glitter.  Nice easy and effective card, anyone who receives this will just love it I am sure.

I kept the inside simple and clean, like my stamping style.  Enjoy and don’t forget to leave comments.  We love them.

INKspired Blog Hop Sketch 17

Wow what a busy week I have had to arrive here to day.   You have most likely arrived here from my lovely upline Teneale Williams.  She also had been busy busy busy this week.

Moving right along, here is the sketch that she had created for us, really a lovely simple sketch that you can use for any of those quick cards we so often need to produce.

Blog Hop 17

This weeks sketch is a quite a straight forward design and I knew what I would be doing straight way.  Whilst we had been on convention a few weeks ago, my granddaughter Bailey had raided my craft desk to make me a welcome home card, now how cute is that?

She chose the set called “Big on You”, its a great stamp set with for large sayings on it.  One of the sayings is “It’s your day”, now how nice would that be embossed on a wedding card, another is “so very kind of you” another great card that you could use to thank some one for a kind act.  Anyway Bailey chose the “I Do Love You”, she stamped it onto a white card base and then put some love hearts around it, using freestyle.

So lets see what I have done.

In June I will have been married for 45 years, years have flown and it hasn’t always been easy yet we have produced to beautiful daughters and have two wonderful grand children.  Life is good and there is lots of love and laughter around us.

I thought this card would be perfect to give to John for that day, what do you think?

Don’t forget to leave a comment, we love to know what you think.

I wonder what Cherie Davies has in store for us today, I just love hopping around seeing what they have all made and leaving each of them a comment.

INKspired Blog Hop Sketch 16

Hard to believe that yet another fortnight had rolled by………………ops its a month, because we missed one fortnight, all of us were too busy getting ready for Stampin’ Up! Conference in the Sunny Gold Coast. Let me tell you it wasn’t sunny, however most of the company was sunny with excitement. Lots of great new product coming as well as new colours. So excited to show you some of them.

Now if your landed here from the Australian Artisan for Stampin’ Up! the fabulous and very talented Teneale Williams, am sure that you loved what she had created for you.

She always wants her team to reach out and expand the creativity that she knows we all have within us, this week is no exception.  Lets look at her sketch and see if we can exceed her expectations.

Blog Hop 16

Who’s excited to see some new colours, I know I was sad to see this years colours go, I loved the soft colours and for a while didn’t think I would like any colours that might take their place……

I should have trusted Stampin’ Up! and known that they wouldn’t let us down.  I love the new colours and decided to use them in my card for this week, hope you like them as much as I do.  One is called Mint Macaron and the other Delightful Dijon.  I will leave this up to you to work out which is which, until their release on the 3rd June 2015.

Next your off to see what clever Cherie has made for you.  I say clever as the last hop that we did I loved the card that she had and this was one she used for the Stampin’ Up! Convention, I was lucky enough to get one and as I do each year I love to show my ladies on my Friday morning class what I brought back with me from conference, well they all loved what Cherrie had made and asked if they could make this in one of their classes. Hi praise there Cherie Davies.

Convention Swap 2015 – Wedding Day

SONY DSCI love making wedding cards, don’t you?  I recently attended the Stampin’ Up! conference on the Gold Coast with the Fabulous INKSpired Stamping Team lead by Teneale Williams.

This was one of the swaps that I made and swapped with other lovely demonstrators.  If you think of selling out, then that’s what I did, none left at the end of the day.  Wow I made 50 and gave them all away for some other awesome cards.

Here is a list of the items I used.  Enjoy

INKspired Blog Hop 15

Time for a blog hop, not that your aware, but I am preparing this on the afternoon of the last blog hop, its just a deterring way of not having to go to the gym or hydro pool.  Thought if I was to start at this point I would at least be ahead of the game, and I am still doing both the gym and hydro pool.

Another interesting design that Miss Teneale  has given us to use.  Now I wonder would they be button worthy?  Makes me laugh as this was something that our friend Heather used to say when she was going to make card and that was to decide if the recipient was button worth.  I am off to play and you will see my results soon.

Week 16 Sketch

Have thought lots about this card as I had decided that yes she was button worthy….lol and maybe a little stitching as well.   Can you guess who this might be?  I used the stamp set Amazing Birthday along with the paper called Lullaby and the most gorgeous buttons from the Sweet Dreams Designer Buttons.
