Blog Hop 67

Hello and welcome to our 67th Bloghop, pretty impressive for an old girl like me.  If your come from another blog, its most likely our friend Maree and I wonder what she has been up to.

Here is the sketch and i was very keen to get started on it, I knew that it could be a simply stunning card, so let’s go see what I have made.

I had seen a lovely technique over on a blog of simplestampin.com, her name is Susan Itell and I love some of her work, especially the one where she did an emboss resist of the leaves from the Colorful Season Stamp set.

For my card stocks I choose to use, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Curry Crush.  I used the woodgrain embossing folder using the deposed side, I like the extra texture that I had with it.

On the inside I just used another of the leaves and one cut out with the lovely foil papers, in this case I used the gold.

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Here are our team playing tonight in case you want to just to one of them:

Blog Hop 61

Hi and welcome to our blog hop, if your started Maree then I am sure you love what she has made for us.

I have to tell you I pondered, but then I often ponder on what to make, then I decided if I choose some of the beautiful specialty paper that I could use.

I chose the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series, and the very versatile Seasonal Layers Thinlits and the matching Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.

Lets see if I got it right.

I love the words “Just Breathe”, think it can be used for many different cards for several different occasions.  I embossed this is Gold, matching the gold foil on the designer paper.

I used the die that’s in the set to make a scallop for the top and bottom and there are some little flowers that I cut out to represent the two little bits hanging.  We now have very cute little sequin that I used as my trim at the top of the card, then attached the two flowers.

On the inside I embossed the word Congratulations and then the one saying Life is a beautiful thing.

Now are you wondering who might be getting this card?

Leave a comment telling suggesting whom this might be suitable for.

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Here are the items I used.
