Welcome again to the INKspired Sketch Blog Hop no 6, can you believe how quickly the weeks have rolled along. If you have landed on this hop you have most likely came from the baby of our team, the fabulous Renee
I find it hard to believe that it is only 25 days to Christmas and how quickly they are rolling along. With that in mind, I sincerely hope that you might find some inspiration in my card that I have made for the challenge. Please see the challenge design below. Enjoy
Here is my spin on the challenge that made using the Ornamental Pine stamp set, I do hope you like it and don’t forget to leave a comment, we love comments.
I choose this stamp set as its super easy to use, you can produce lots of different designs using it, making a very versatile set if you’re on a tight budget. (aren’t we all)
Firstly I stamped the ornament Pine branch in Versa Mark the embossed using Smokey Slate embossing power as i wanted to have a softer look to the branches. Thing that was achieved, don’t you?
The paper I chose was from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack down the side mounted onto Whisper White cardstock, then mounted onto Pool Party cardstock, finely trimmed to fit the front of my card.
The next part of the design was circle in the bottom right hand side with the addition of an accent to the left and to the right, is the right hand side was a star. But hey it doesn’t have to be a star, could be whatever you want to do, what do you think? Can you see how I incorporated my accent? Using the sentiment that comes with the set, I was able to emboss it with the Silver embossing power to give it a little pop. you will notice that I carried of the Designer series paper here.
Hope you enjoyed this week’s card and get some inspiration to start creating some wonderful Christmas Cards.
