Blooming with Kindness Lilac Flower

I love all flowers, would love to let that extend to a bed of blooming flowers in my garden, Rhonda my neighbour, who gets great enjoyment out of being in the garden. Hers is like a little english garden.

So for me, I just create beautiful cards that incorporate flowers. The stamp set i used was Blooming with Kindness set on page 87 of the 2012-2013 catalogue. the clear mount set is #126422 and its on $31.95, which i am sure you would agree is great value.

Enjoy and see you soon.

Beautiful Wedding

On Saturday I attended the Wedding of a delightful young lady Courtney Price, whom I known since she was a small baby and had the privilege of watching her grow into a delightful young lady. It was one of the nicest weddings I have been too.

Now a beautiful bride deserves a beautiful card, so what do you think, did my card fit the bill?  I used the very beautiful Papaya Collage stamp set out of the New 2012-2013 catalogue, it’s on page 75 and is $44.95, (126612).  It’s a really beautiful set that has the Rose, Butterfly and Frame in it to name a few.

I cannot take the credit for this card, it was taught in a class by the very talented Teneale Williams who regularly runs card making classes weekly.  Whilst Teneale taught one for a 60th Wedding anniversary, I had changed mine to a wedding card for Courtney.

Stamps: Papya Collage {NEW Page 75}, Memorable Moments {NEW 139} and French Foliage
Ink: VersaMark, White Craft, Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Old Olive
Cardstock: Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Old Olive
Accessories: Blender Pen, Clear Embossing powder, Old Olive Satin Ribbon {retired}, Pearls and Crumb Cake Tulle {Holiday Catty Page 4}

Pear – Faith in Nature

Here again is an other card that we shared in my class at the Creative Spirit Centre. using a Hostess set for the retired catalogue.

We welcome new students all the time, why don’t you come and meet my lovely ladies and learn some new techniques.  On this card we used the gorgeous pear, which we embossed and stamped.  Also used the gorgeous French Foliage, which we are very fortunate that it carried over into the new catalogue.  You can find on Page 86 of the new catalogue.

3 Minute Thank You Cards

My daughter Terriane is the President of her daughters local school P&C and is very grateful for the assistance that she receives from other parents.  She will often ask, Mum do you have any cards that I could have, preferably Thank You ones. Me being the great mum I am will go and make her some, makes me get better and she loves them.

These are just so easy to make, my motto is keep it simple and simple are these cards. I used Stampin’ Up! Natural Ivory as my base card stock and took a piece of designer paper, cut to fit the top of my card front. Before attaching it to my card, I wrapped a piece of twine around and made a small bow on it to add some texture. Took a leaf out of the French Foliage Stamp Set.

This is one of the most versatile sets it can be used on many layouts. Would also be great on your scrapbook pages.

Autumn in Paris

This is another set made with the very versatile French Foliage. I also used the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set.

Again using the triple layer effect, but only using monochromatic system using cream cardstock and Soft Suede ink. I do hope you like it.

If you would like to learn this technique, please contact me and book a party with me. I would be more then happy to come long and make this card with your friends and you.
