Blooming with Kindness Lilac Flower

I love all flowers, would love to let that extend to a bed of blooming flowers in my garden, Rhonda my neighbour, who gets great enjoyment out of being in the garden. Hers is like a little english garden.

So for me, I just create beautiful cards that incorporate flowers. The stamp set i used was Blooming with Kindness set on page 87 of the 2012-2013 catalogue. the clear mount set is #126422 and its on $31.95, which i am sure you would agree is great value.

Enjoy and see you soon.

Blooming with Kindness

Another card using the gorgeous stamp set “Blooming with Kindness”  this time I used the Crumb Cake Cardstock making the card a one layer wonder, I used an aquamarker to drag the color in the flower giving it a little bit of a washed look.  What do you think, I personally love it.

Was in a class the other night and my friend Mari asked why we used craft card stock all the time, we had to tell her that the crumbcake is the most used one and that it had replaced Craft……….not sure she was impressed with us.  I personally love this colour cardstock and its great to use for male cards.  Reminds me I have a male card to make for my husband as its his birthday on the 3rd October.

If you’re wondering what the colour of the ink is it’s from the new In Color range called Primrose Petals, beautiful pink I think, do you.  I also used the roller from the current Holiday Catalogue after making my Bloom with a post it note.  You can find the roller called “Timber” on page 33, #129717 for $10.95 plus postage.

A Blooming Beauty

The Blooming with Kindness is such a delightful stamp to use and has some wonderful saying that make up this set.  The set is on page 87 of the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue 2012-2013.  Clear mount is # 126442 and the cost is $31.95 and will give you endless uses.  On mine card here i used the one that says “Hope is a wish with a little more CLOUT” which I had embossed with the Silver Embossing Powder.  I love embossing, but then is that because I am an older stamper?

This was one of the cards that we made on Friday’s class in Minchinbury with my special ladies.  We used the new In Color of Midnight Muse ink pad and our Blender Pen to drag the color and add definition to the flower.  Such easy card but quite effective.

Hope you like it.
