BlogHopping

Happy happy days are here, not sure where you started, but Allison is before me today, I love the fact that she always play and I love to see what she had done.

I have had a big couple of days stamping, Friday a class using the First Frost and if you have seen it, take a look at some of the cards make with it, its to die for, Saturday we had a whole day of Christmas Cards, 10 ladies, 250 cards, not a bad effort and so much fun.

Anyway here is our design this week, which I pondered on until this morning and then like a bolt of lightning, I knew which stamp set was meant for this sketch.

No automatic alt text available.

Here we go, I chose to use the Vertical Greetings Set, has been sitting on my self for a couple of years, loved it, had to have it.  Does that happen to you?

Using my Stamp N Write Markers I inked up the stamp in Georgous Grape for the flowers and Rich Razzleberry for the Pot, Mossy Meadow for the stem.  I stamped double and hand cut the Pot, then using two small circle punches punched out the flowers and mounted them onto the top of the first stamp.

For the next layer I choose paper for the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and put velum over the top.

I used Blackberry Bliss as my backing of the design embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder, attached to another piece of Blackberry Bliss and trimmed to a fine border.

Hope your day has been crafty fun and now your now off to see what Kozue

has made for us:

BlogHop 76

Hello and welcome to this 76 BlogHop on this lovely Easter Sunday. Now you would expect that we might do an Easter Card………………Sad Face, no I didn’t.
Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us to use, I rather like being given a sketch as a starting point for a card.

I decided to pull out an older stamp set, Sweet Cupcake, been sitting on my desk and though as I am always after birthday cards I should use it.

Now as you might realise, its a 3 step stamping set, Grrrrrrrrrr you say.  Not a problem with the new Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus.

I have miss placed my original one, but still had one of the plates, I must have put it in a safe place and am sure I will find it soon.  Anyway I have just received my second one, so no problem, I was able to set up the 3 stamps one on each please and on the opposite side the ice for the top of the cake.

Now how easy would that make your class?

Now did I get the sketch right?  Please leave a comment, we love comments.  Good or bad.

Hope your had a lovely Easter, I know I have.  Kids have just gone home after being stuffed with Chocolate.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Blog Hop 53

Welcome to yet another Inkspired Artists bloghop, you have most likely come from my friend Maree and I wonder what she has created for us today.

Great sketch that Teneale  has given us to work with, don’t you just love her work?

I decided to use the Birthday Blooms as my stamp set, its lovely to water color and always look great.  I used Watermelon Wonder as the main color for the flower and Delightful Dijon for the centres.  The leaves were colored with the Cucumber Crush, not a color that I have used a lot, however as it was St Patricks Day this week and there is a lovely young girl at work who is having a birthday in April and she is Scottish I thought it only fitting to make it for her.  Hope she likes it.
I have used the Cucumber Crush as the main card base and the paper is from the in color designer Series paper stack, which will be retiring this year.
Enjoy and don’t forget to leave a comment, even one word is fine.
Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you, I was lucky to see it and your going to love it.

Blog Hop 38

Welcome to our 38th INKSpired Artists Blog Hop, if you have just begun here than, if not your will have come from Maree.  I wonder what she has made for us today?  Don’t you just live her bush photos? She is one of the lucky ones who lives in the country as opposed me who came from the country to the city at a young age.

We were given a simple sketch, which as usual I over thought, thus over achieving, but hey I have a card ready for my class this week and my ladies are going to love it.  Come to class to see?

Inkspired Artist Blog Hop 38

This is the sketch and as you can see, it only really needs to have a sentiment, so lets see my final card.

I used “You’re the Best” out of the Watercolor words and embossed them with the new embossing power with glitter in it, that you can all buy next month when the new Seasonal Catalogue comes out.  Who would like one sent to them?  If you’re not a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and would like you very own catalogue, comment on my blog and I will shoot one out to you.

Swirly Birds seems to be extremely popular in the current catalogue and I have used that for the strip across the card and then cut out two circles using the new Layering Circles.  Don’t you just love how fine they cut.  Allows a little pop of colour on your page.

Lets go see what Teneale has created for you this week.

Wow and I just saw that I am wedged between the two superstars of Louise Sharp and Teneale Williams.  Now both of them are a hard act to follow.   Not sure where you started, however you must have come to me from Louise  I cannot wait to see what she has made for us today.

InkSpired Artist Blog Hop37

I had originally thought I would use the Picture Perfect, using the star for my card and the Serene Scenery Designer papers, if you haven’t seen them they definitely are worth a second glance.

When I sat down to start on my card after having an afternoon of stamping Christmas Cards and chatting away with my friends.  (such a nice day).  I looked at the extra kits I had cut and the cards we had made and thought to myself as I played with the scraps of paper, hey I could make this work using whats just here on my desk.

I had some strips of the designer papers, This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Papers with the Peace This Christmas Stamp set.

I used the Softly Falling embossing folder as the background and changed the Star to a Circle.  I used the wonderful new Layering Circles Framelits, which co ordinate both circles and scallops.  Aren’t they lovely?

Peace this Christmas

I used the greeting and the pine cone in Soft Suede and Garden Green on the leaves and the stipe of designer paper along the lower part of the card.

Hope you enjoy the hop and now you off to see what Teneale has made for you.

ESAD Demo’s Annual Catalogue Hop

2016-17 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop Header

Welcome to the EASD New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop for 2016-2017, you may have landed here from the super talented young mumma, Renee Lynch who I am sure delighted you with her project.

I have been reading this little bitty book, ‘passport to the soul’  on the first page is the quote “Wherever you are is the entry point.” by Kabir.  I thought that this could apply to our new catalogue when opening it, doesn’t matter if its at the beginning or any page for that matter is the entry point to be delighted.

My entry point was the beautiful White and Navy Papers.  They are stunning along with the Floral Phrases stamp set, you could find them on page 77 of your catalogue, however I didn’t use this, I wanted to show an other set, the Layering Love rubber stamps.

Barbie Box

First I made a little box to put my cards in, then a little photo frame using one of the lovely little sayings. Now who wouldn’t want to receive that?

A Frame

I used the sweet and Sassy framelits (new) for the heart shape, embossing with White embossing power.  The envelopes are both lined and on the inside and back flap of the envelope.
