Tis the Season

I love the concept of doing one sheet wonders, (osw) which is where you stamp out random images on a a4 sheet of cardstock. See more below.

I used the Peaceful Cabin stamp, the Christmas Season Set and the Christmas to Remember sets.

I follow a lady called Ruth Trice who has a facebook page called Artful Stampin and a Blog. She runs lots of video’s and lives should you like to take a look.

I stamped the cabin in Black and touched up parts of it with Crumb Cake Blend to the end of the Cabin.

I used the Christmas Season stamp set, with colors of Soft Suede Merry Merlot and Evening Evergreen ink pads to make my design.

The greeting I used is from the Christmas to Remember and embossed in Gold as was the the inside of the card.

Hope you enjoy this card, thanks for visiting my page.

INkSpired Blog Hop 146

Hi and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired artists.

Below is the sketch that Teneale Williams has designed for us.

As soon as I looked at the sketch, I knew what set I was going to use. Lets go have a look at it.

Its the Peaceful Cabin Stamp bundle and i also used the Peaceful Place. Specialty Papers that are so perfect, see them below

I used Basic Grey to stamp the images, then using the dies to cut out the outline of the house and the trees, these where then put through an embossing folder to add texture to them. I used the Evergreen Florest for the Trees and the Tasteful Textile 3D for the house and fore ground.

I decided to silver emboss the greeting and using the oval punch cut it out and mounted.

I just stamped part of the cabin to one side, embossed a rather crooked greeting on the other side and attached a piece of the of the designer paper to the bottom.

Lets go see what Julie Martin has made for us.
