Inkspired blog hop 149

Hi and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired Artists. Time is flying by and before we know it its going to be Christmas, so what better to make than a Christmas Card.

I choose to use the Poinsettia Petals Stamp and Dies on page 92 of the Annual Catalogue. I used a 1/2 sheet of White cardstock and sponged about two thirds of it with Cherry Cobbler ink on rest I sponged with Old Olive ink.

Using the dies with the insert and outlines I die cut the petals and lives, not the leves where stamped before cutting.

I made the Poinsettia Petals the my shape, the white and the piece across the front and the picket at the bottom of the white.

Lets go see what Julie has made for you.

Gifting Dies

Help me, I have forgotten what week we are up too. I do know that they are galloping away at an unbelievable pace.

Sorry we are late this week as my little Baby Bear has not been well.

This week its the Gifting Dies that are on page 61 of the Christmas Cattie. We both loved the little slay and Santa, thus only having them.

I had in my mind that I wanted to have Santa flying through the trees as he delivered all the children’s presents so choose to use the beauty of the Earth Designer Series papers as a foundation.

Whilst there are trees on the paper, i tool the Beauty of Friendship stamps and stamped them onto the designer papers.

I then attached Santa to the front, for the inside I just put a sentiment and some threes

The next card was quite simple and with both cards I have used the sentiments front eh Christmas to Remember set out of the Christmas Cattie on page 19.

Now here is my little Santa, standing so proudly in the middle of the card. Super cute.

Anther greeting from the Christmas to Remember.

Now lets see what Teneale has for you.

Be Jolly

Well, another week has passed us by, we are now out of lockdown and transferred to another type of stress.

I started with water paper so i could water color it, however half way through changed to use Blends.

I then had my trusty fussy cutter help out. She didnt like the water color papers, as its stiff and rather hard to cut.

Lets go see what Teneale has for you.

Blog Hop 148

Non Traditional Christmas.

What a great idea to have a non Traditional Christmas Blog Hop and I am so pleased that this year Stampin Up has brought out some amazing bundles.

I choose to use the Whimsy and Wonder Bundle and as the paper is so beautiful I had that the feature of my card.

Soft Succulent is the base for the card and then Misty Moonight which has the Designer paper attached to it.

Rather special greeting, embossed in Silver and die cut out before attaching with dimensionals to the front.

The inside has a strip of the designer paper at the bottom and one of the bubbles has been fuzzy cut.

I hope you enjoy the hop and lets see Julie Martin has made for us>

Tidings of Christmas Suite

This week Teneale and I using the Tidings and Trimmings Set from the main catalogue, page 89 if you wanted to check your cattie.

We are no at week 3 of our 12 weeks Blogging.

I used the colors of Cherry Cobbler for my base card, then a layer of Sahara Sand, which I used one of the papers from the Designer paper pack

I stamped my greeting with Cherry Cobbler, I think its a great greeting for the card.

I then took a piece of the designer paper as a trim inside with a greeting from the set.

I also did a second card using the Just Jade and Evening Evergreen. Interesting enough i had said i wasn’t going to buy the Evening Evergreen ink and Blends, now I think they are my favorite color.

Designer paper cut and attached to a piece of Sahara Sand that had been put through an embossing folder (hope its current or will be in strife) which as then attached to Evening Evergreen and then mounted onto the card base of Soft Succulent. Just checked, I am in luck, its called Tasteful Textiles 3D I am in luck…..

I again choose the Wonderful time of the year for the front and cut out using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

Used both the designer paper and a piece of the Sahara Sand that had been embossed on the inside. I hope your enjoying our different takes on the sets.

See what Teneale created

WHIMSLY & WONDER

2nd week of Christmas with Teneale and Barbara, time will just fly.

This is such a lovely set to use. The papers are stunning, the colors devine.

I used the tree embossing folder on the tree, before attaching the silver trim, made it look for realistic.

The little parcels are fussy cut out of the designer papers.

The inside is just a strip of designer paper and a couple of the little presents.

Next card is:

Yet another beautiful paper in the set, i stamped the large tree in Misty Moonlight, as well as a thin tree, a small squat one was stamped in Polished Pink with Silver garland attached. Stitched so sweetly dies where used to cut out the white centre.

Choose to stamp the tree inside, then stamped off the second one, attached a strip of designer paper to the bottom.

Hope you enjoy visiting our little hop. Your now off to see what Teneale has made for you.

Shaded Summer

Helllo and welcome to another blog hop of the Inkspired Artists. Its a color challenge and you can see the colors below.

I choose to use the stamp set called Shaded Summer and if you were lucky enough to have the dies, which were in the Sale a bration catalogue your lucky. I am going to endeavor to make a card this week using them.

I decided to get my stamp n write markers out and go old school for a change. Thats when you take your pen to your stamp, now not just any pen, it cannot be your Blends.

I used the Calypos Coral and Petal Pink to color the flower and Old Olive on the leaves and stamps.

I used the other stamp in the set for the inside and did silver embossing on the front and inside and the sentiment on the front.

Lets go see what Teneale has for us.

peaceful deer

Well cannot remember, thought it might have been last year, but not sure. Anyway Teneale and I did a BlogHop leading up to Christmas and thought it might be good to do it again this year. Each week we will both use the same stamp set and as you know we both have different styles.

This is a glance of the all.

So lets go look at what I have made……………now she has told me that its not my best work, but hey I liked them all and they are easy to achieve.

I used the designer papers that you can get to free if you spend 90.00 from either the Mini or Annual Catalogue. Nice basic stamping, die cut white cardstock attached to Gold foil then mounted onto the card front.

I carried over part theme from the front.

Second card I again used all of the designs from the Designer paper pack called Peaceful Prints.

This time i cut strips and run them diagonal along the card base. Then stamped out the sweet little Deer and cut him out with the punch.

That one was my most favourite one, do you like using strips of pretty papers to make backgrounds?

This on used the trees which are stamped off and the little deer and Rabbit. Aren’t they sweet?

I just used my aqua pen and a touch of ink to color both the Rabbit and Deer…..i think that little rabbit did a whoopsey and is sitting in it……………….lol

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you, I know your going to love it.

Tis the Season

I love the concept of doing one sheet wonders, (osw) which is where you stamp out random images on a a4 sheet of cardstock. See more below.

I used the Peaceful Cabin stamp, the Christmas Season Set and the Christmas to Remember sets.

I follow a lady called Ruth Trice who has a facebook page called Artful Stampin and a Blog. She runs lots of video’s and lives should you like to take a look.

I stamped the cabin in Black and touched up parts of it with Crumb Cake Blend to the end of the Cabin.

I used the Christmas Season stamp set, with colors of Soft Suede Merry Merlot and Evening Evergreen ink pads to make my design.

The greeting I used is from the Christmas to Remember and embossed in Gold as was the the inside of the card.

Hope you enjoy this card, thanks for visiting my page.
