Hoppity do dah

Hi and Welcome to our bloghop for this fortnight.  Weeks are whizzing by and I only have one more bloghop before I am hopping off over to Orlando, how exciting.  I am also excited to see what Allison had prepared for us.

Here is our sketch for this week, quite an interesting layout.  Quite honestly I didn’t know what I was going to do.

Then the penny dropped, or something did, I have been helping prepare a day of card making with my up-line and part of it is to make 20 Christmas Cards in the day and go home to finish off another 20.  I decided to check what was in the pool of goodies left to be made up, we have already done 30 of them.

I took one of the Poppy Parade cardbases, a white card front, after cutting out my white circle from this front, I was then able to hide it with a card from the Santa and More pack, that’s the green piece, there were some strips left from other cards, so they become my strips.

In the kits we have put together, there is the beautiful designer papers, and this piece has flocking on it, trimmed and mounted onto my circle.

One of the cards that we had loved it and chopped it, Kylie’s favourite saying. so took the Merry Christmas stripped that had been chopped.

Wella, finished.  Love it, hope you do to.  Our class is running on the 13 October from 10.30 and there is just one spot left.

Here is a look at what we will be doing:

If you would like a kit, I am happy to sell one to you.

Your now off to see my partner in crime……………or upline………  Teneale

ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue

Hi friends and welcome, if you have just started at my blog, or maybe you have come from Cathy and I wonder what she has made for us today.  I am sure your going to get lots of inspirations along the way from all the great demonstrators who are showcasing the new catalogue.

I’m excited to be showcasing one of my favorite stamp sets from the new Occasions Catalogue, its the Beautiful Baubles. there are just so much you can do with them.

I used the Stamparatus to line up two sets of the baubles, they colored the baubles with the tones of blue  and grey.  I colored another set of the baubles and die cut them out and using glue dots stuck them on.

I used the Swirls and Curls Textured embossing folder on the Night of navy strip and Subtle from the main catalogue on the Bermuda Bay card front.  I trimmed the white Baubles onto a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock and trimmed to a fine border, i used silver embossing for the greeting, Deck the Halls after I had dry embossed it.

The inside was greeting was embossed in silver to match the silver glitter strip on the night of navy.  To tie in the grey Blends, I used the Smokey Slate as my cardbase.

Now your off to see what Libby has made for you.

Bloghop 75

Welcome to our blog hop tonight, hope your all had a lovely weekend with family and friends.  If your just come from another blog, its most likely the delightful little mumma, Renee who’s work is nothing short of exquisite.

Each fortnight Teneale designs a sketch for us, sometimes we are seriously challenged and other times its ok.  Do lets go see what I have done.I must say, I looked outside my circle here, opps did I even use a circle? I think not.

I thought I would use a flower for my circle, mainly because I love coloring, whether it be water coloring , pencils or Blendies.  I choose to use Shimmery White cardstock and heat embossed the beautiful large flower from the Beautiful Day Stamp set.  I have to tell you it was one of the last sets I bought because I thought the lines where just to wide.

However like all things we change our mind and I now love it and wondered why would I not like this?

I used white embossing powder to emboss the flower, this gave me lovely raised edges for the pools of color to collect in each bud allowing me to get some deep and some light petals.

I then cut out the flower and mounted it on the lovely Petal Passion Black and White designer series papers for a striking effect.  My color of choice was Berry Burst reinker, I think its lovely.

Inside was just finished with a part of the flower and colored.

Your now off to see what Teneale has made for us.

Perennial Birthday

Hi and welcome to our 74 blog hop, sketch by Teneale Williams, as show below.

If your come from Renee wonder what she has made for us.

I decided to go with the beautiful paper that is in the second release of Sale-a-Bration and coloured it with fresh fig straight from the ink pad.  Then wiped it off with a tissue removing some of the ink, but allowing the beautiful silver and gold to show through.

I used silver embossing power on the greetings, positioned with the wonder Stampparatus to position the words.  Made it so easy to line them up.

For the inside I added an embossed greeting, from the same set as the front.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you.

Inkspired Artist Bloghop 73

Hi and Welcome to another Bloghop of the Inkspired Artists, this is our 73rd one and that means we have been hopping along for??? not sure of how long, but definitely a while.Above is our sketch that Teneale has designed for us, quite an interesting one really, with the splash across it and a sentiment.

Did think a little about the splash, then it came to me, it didn’t have to be a splash as such, it could represent a large word.  Maybe the word could be Sorry.

I work colleague has recently and very suddenly this week lost his wife.  She loved purple and he has asked that her funeral be a sea of purple, I know he is really struggling and a nicer person you could go a long way to meet.

So in memory of Sue, this is for Glenn…………….I am sad and sorry for your loss.  God Bless you and your family.

Now I will quietly lead you off to Teneale and see what she has for you.

Inkspired Blog Hop 72

Welcome, if your come from another stamper its most likely that sweet little Mumma Renee and below is our sketch for this week.

From the moment I looked at the sketch I knew that I was going to use the You’re Inspiring stamp set from the new catalogue, don’t have one, ask your demonstrator I am sure she would love to send you one.

I am love coloring in, so this was a perfect stamp set to use, for any of you that follow me on my blog you would have seen it used before, but at that time I used the large Daffodil.  This time I chose the smaller one.

I do hope you love this card as much as I do.  Now your off to see what? not sure who is playing.

Wow, you’re going to be in for a treat, your off to check out Narelle Macy‘s and I think she might be using the delightful little Panda.

Inspired Artist Blog Hop 71

Welcome, not sure if your just starting here at my blog or you have come from Renee, either way, welcome we are glad to have you come and check out this weeks hop.

You know when you see something and think I don’t need that.  This had been my initial reaction to the Myths & Magic Stamp Set and the Formalist in the new occasions catalogue, so I didn’t buy them.

It so happened that my upline and dear daughter thought Hey mum could do something great with these and she bought for me the bundle along with the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper.

So I decided that these little mystical people would look great on this sketch, thus I stamped out a page of different one and sat for the day on Saturday and colored them with my Blendies, now if you don’t own any, you need to at least try them at some time.

I then took some of my little pieces that I had cut out and started playing with some of the papers to see what went with what, thus this was how I choose this paper, is very magical in itself, beautiful and sparkly.

As they are so cute, I when and looked at another one and started to put him together, hope you like this one too

Here he is, so cute, and I am now in love with these little bundle.

I suppose we should often be open to what we do and do not like, now this is my favourite one and its just so much fun to color.

My ladies are in for a great class this week, as we will do one of them on Friday class and the other on Saturday class.

Please leave a comment we all love comments.

Now of to see what Teneale has made for us.

Hedgehugs Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

Hello, 2018. I can not believe how fast 2017 went. I trust you had a delightful Christmas and new year, mine was wonderful and spent with my loving family.   A new year brings a new catalogue called the Occasions from Stampin’ Up!, I felt it was only right to use new product in my first post of the year and I decided upon a stamp set called Hedgehugs.

I am also joining in the first INKspired blog hop of the year, Teneale designs a sketch for us to take inspiration from and you can see the sketch above. I changed it up a little by moving the star/shape to the right of the card as it fitted better.
