Evergreen elegance

12 Weeks of Christmas

This is one of my most favorite stamp sets, i stamped it in with Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Mint Macaron.

Used designer paper for the side and mounted my stamped image onto Evening Evergreen card base.

Simply put a piece of designer paper along the bottom and a medium size tree on the inside.

For this card I stamped on a small panel, attached to Evening Evergreen and trimmed.

Now lets see what Teneale has made for you.

Merriest Moments

Life gets in our way and we find ourselves a little late with this hop. We choose to use the Merriest Moments Bundle, which you can find on page 43 of your mini catalogue. Its quite a unique set which has dies and embossing folder that work so well together.

I first of all took a piece of white cardstock and taking my blending brushes, blended the colors of Cherry Cobbler and Old Oliver. I then took the outline die to cut out.

I then took a another piece of White Cardstock and put into the Hybrid embossing folder and cut it out. It was then attached to the colored cut out. I might add that I attached both of them to a embossed cardbase.

Silver embossing complimented the front of the card.

Now your off to see what my partner in crime Teneale has done.

Inspired Artist Blog Hop 71

Welcome, not sure if your just starting here at my blog or you have come from Renee, either way, welcome we are glad to have you come and check out this weeks hop.

You know when you see something and think I don’t need that.  This had been my initial reaction to the Myths & Magic Stamp Set and the Formalist in the new occasions catalogue, so I didn’t buy them.

It so happened that my upline and dear daughter thought Hey mum could do something great with these and she bought for me the bundle along with the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper.

So I decided that these little mystical people would look great on this sketch, thus I stamped out a page of different one and sat for the day on Saturday and colored them with my Blendies, now if you don’t own any, you need to at least try them at some time.

I then took some of my little pieces that I had cut out and started playing with some of the papers to see what went with what, thus this was how I choose this paper, is very magical in itself, beautiful and sparkly.

As they are so cute, I when and looked at another one and started to put him together, hope you like this one too

Here he is, so cute, and I am now in love with these little bundle.

I suppose we should often be open to what we do and do not like, now this is my favourite one and its just so much fun to color.

My ladies are in for a great class this week, as we will do one of them on Friday class and the other on Saturday class.

Please leave a comment we all love comments.

Now of to see what Teneale has made for us.

12 Weeks of Christmas

12 Weeks of Christmas With Barbara and Teneale Williams

Well week twelve has arrived and this will be our last post for this year………….even though I have sometimes complained about having to think of a design, now I can complain that I miss it.

We decided to focus on the main catalogue and use a Christmas stamp set, for me I had bought and never used Nature Sings, so off the shelf it came.

What a great stamp set, whilst its marketed as Christmas, I can see it being used for masculine Birthday/thinking of you card.

I want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Thanks for hopping along with Teneale and I.

Now it is time to head over to see what Teneale has created.

12 Weeks of Christmas Part 11

12 Weeks of Christmas With Barbara and Teneale Williams

Boy how the weeks have gone, just one more post after this one.  I have enjoyed it, even if some weeks I was stretched with John in and out of hospital and doctors.

This week we decided to use the little Musical Season Bundle, which is retiring on the 2 January 2018.  Its such a versatile little set, so am sad to see it go.

I used soft Suede Cardstock and ink and embossing on some of the instruments.  Hope you like it and see you next week.

12 Weeks of Christmas With Barbara and Teneale Williams

Welcome, I am so happy to be here tonight.  Last night I had a fall, up the stairs, which was just as bad as down I think however I am not sure and don’t want to find out.

So I am here after a quite stressful morning, had John at hospital before 6.45 am for tests, I have a class on Friday at 10am, because of my fall cards not cut and packed.  John rings and said I can come home sooner, but hey I will just wait for you.  Me being me panic and contact my ladies and ask can we start class at 11.30, all agree, thanks so much for agree.

Then John rings again, they are doing more tests…………………….hey you know what you really just want to see the card, Right?

Welcome to Week 6, we could say that we are halfway to Christmas, 6 down and 6 to go, but hey who is counting.  Have you seen the Snowflake Sentiments bundle?

Tis one of the versatile sets in the Occasion Catalogue, I have kept mine quite simple on this card which we made on one of my special afternoon Christmas Cards Class.
