Happy happy days are here, not sure where you started, but Allison is before me today, I love the fact that she always play and I love to see what she had done.

I have had a big couple of days stamping, Friday a class using the First Frost and if you have seen it, take a look at some of the cards make with it, its to die for, Saturday we had a whole day of Christmas Cards, 10 ladies, 250 cards, not a bad effort and so much fun.

Anyway here is our design this week, which I pondered on until this morning and then like a bolt of lightning, I knew which stamp set was meant for this sketch.

Here we go, I chose to use the Vertical Greetings Set, has been sitting on my self for a couple of years, loved it, had to have it. Does that happen to you?

Using my Stamp N Write Markers I inked up the stamp in Georgous Grape for the flowers and Rich Razzleberry for the Pot, Mossy Meadow for the stem. I stamped double and hand cut the Pot, then using two small circle punches punched out the flowers and mounted them onto the top of the first stamp.

For the next layer I choose paper for the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and put velum over the top.

I used Blackberry Bliss as my backing of the design embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder, attached to another piece of Blackberry Bliss and trimmed to a fine border.

Hoppity do dah

Hi and Welcome to our bloghop for this fortnight. Weeks are whizzing by and I only have one more bloghop before I am hopping off over to Orlando, how exciting. I am also excited to see what Allison had prepared for us.

Here is our sketch for this week, quite an interesting layout. Quite honestly I didn’t know what I was going to do.

Then the penny dropped, or something did, I have been helping prepare a day of card making with my up-line and part of it is to make 20 Christmas Cards in the day and go home to finish off another 20. I decided to check what was in the pool of goodies left to be made up, we have already done 30 of them.

I took one of the Poppy Parade cardbases, a white card front, after cutting out my white circle from this front, I was then able to hide it with a card from the Santa and More pack, that’s the green piece, there were some strips left from other cards, so they become my strips.

In the kits we have put together, there is the beautiful designer papers, and this piece has flocking on it, trimmed and mounted onto my circle.

One of the cards that we had loved it and chopped it, Kylie’s favourite saying. so took the Merry Christmas stripped that had been chopped.

Wella, finished. Love it, hope you do to. Our class is running on the 13 October from 10.30 and there is just one spot left.

No automatic alt text available. This will be a very quick post, I have just got home from a Buy a Bale fundraiser for the farmers. What a great event it was, they raised of $50,000 with a guitar of Keith Urban being auctioned for $6.000. this leads me into Love what you do, the name I choose for my post, just as all the artists that gave their time to raise money, they were actually doing what they love………………..different, but same same, I am doing what I love.

I used the sentiment from the Still Night stamp in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue and papers from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Papers. I love the Merry Merlot color and so that was the reason for using the papers. The embossing folder is the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue

Hi friends and welcome, if you have just started at my blog, or maybe you have come from Cathy and I wonder what she has made for us today. I am sure your going to get lots of inspirations along the way from all the great demonstrators who are showcasing the new catalogue.

I’m excited to be showcasing one of my favorite stamp sets from the new Occasions Catalogue, its the Beautiful Baubles. there are just so much you can do with them.

I used the Stamparatus to line up two sets of the baubles, they colored the baubles with the tones of blue and grey. I colored another set of the baubles and die cut them out and using glue dots stuck them on.

I used the Swirls and Curls Textured embossing folder on the Night of navy strip and Subtle from the main catalogue on the Bermuda Bay card front. I trimmed the white Baubles onto a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock and trimmed to a fine border, i used silver embossing for the greeting, Deck the Halls after I had dry embossed it.

The inside was greeting was embossed in silver to match the silver glitter strip on the night of navy. To tie in the grey Blends, I used the Smokey Slate as my cardbase.

Sea of Textues

Hi and Welcome to the Inkspired Artists blog hop. Not sure if your starting here or your come from Allison’s page, I wonder what she has made for us to-day.

The sketch is made my up line Teneale, who makes them up for us each fortnight. A sketch is good if you want to come up with a card but don’t want to case anyone else’s work, not that there is anything wrong with that either.

Here is my take on this sketch, I used the delightful Under the Sea stamp bundle and the papers to match, I had looked at doing the octopus in Stampin Write markers, however as I also wanted to us this card from my class on Friday last week, it would have taken too long to get around the class. Instead choose to use the designer papers and stamp on it.

This stamp set is such fun to use, we also made another one but stamped it all, maybe I will post it through the week. I used the Rock Salt technique.

ESAD Color your Season

Hi and Welcome to the ESAD Colour Your Season blog hop, there are 19 of us showcasing this beautiful set, which is only available for a short time, at the end August 2018 it will no longer be available, so you need to contact your Stampin Up Demonstrator.

Have you just come from Narelle’s page, I am excited to see what she has made for us today. It’s lovely to see all the different cards produced using just one stamp set and the colours they have chosen for their colouring’s

I love the big blossom in this set and have used it many times in class, they ladies all loved it so much most of them bought their own set.

I used Cherry Cobbler to color and mounted it on a piece of white card stock after putting it through my Big Shot with the gorgeous Tuffed Embossing Folder. In the set you also get a the double stitched Thinlits, which are only around for this month.

Hello and Welcome to our little teams blog hop. if you have hopped over from Alison, I wonder what she has made for us. I have to tell you, I loved the sketch that Teneale has made for us this week.
I choose to use the new Blended Seasons stamp set, that is only available in August, so you don’t want to miss out on it. Do you like Coloring, its perfect to color.

I used a combination of Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Calyso Coral and the light Soft Suede. Would have loved to have Cajun Craze as well, but surprise, it’s coming.

I stamped the whole of my 10 x 14.4 card front with the leaves from the Blended Season stamp set and they just sat and colored in to my heart’s content. Such a lovely time I had.

Hope you enjoy my card, I love it, hope my class does, they are going to do this on Friday mornings Class. So much fun.

ESAD Designer Series Papers

Hi everyone and welcome to the ESAD BlogHop, I am so happy to participate with all these amazing crafters. I had not been feeling the Christmas Feeling up until I was issued a challenge by my team leader to design cards showcasing Mistletoe Designer Series Papers, she posted 12 of the team the below papers and ribbon to play with.

As an added bonus, ESAD were doing a blog hop of the beautiful papers on special this month, buy 3 get an extra one free, what a great deal. It is a great chance to stock up on papers or share with a friend, you buy your favourite, she could buy her top picks and then you share them, bargain.

As soon the papers arrived, the ideas just started flowing, I only needed to make one to share within our Facebook group, however, I was on a creative roll and made four cards.

I choose to use the Snowflake Sentiments as my greetings, gold embossing them, then cutting the shapes with the stitched framelits.

Another love of mine is the new embossing folders on my first card I had used the Striped Scallops folder and on this one I used the Climbing Vine, touching the leaves up with Old Olive blends on the raised leaves.
