It is so nice to be back in the swing of the INKspired blog hop after our end of year break that was a little longer than normal. This round Teneale has given us a sketch to inspire, she commented that I may not like this sketch but to her surprise I loved it. Continue reading
Hello and welcome, what a crazy world we are living in. How are you coping with social distancing and home prison, well its not really prison but sure feels like it.
To get me back to doing something constructive I have joined the blog hop, which is our 111 one. If your come from someone else or just joined me, don’t forget to hop along and maybe leave a few comments to encourage us.
Above are the colors that we had been given to use, not sure that they suited the stamps I wanted to use, but hey its got me stamping. Lets go see what I have done.
I choose to use a brand new stamp set, just released on the 1st April called Ornate Style, along with the dies called Ornate Layer Dies.
I am in love with the larger stamp in this set, it has lovely fine image lines, which I particularly like for my colorings. Although looking closely I can see I have gone out of the lines down on the left hand side leaves…..oppps.
I used the one of the recangle dies to cut out my flower image and then mounted it onto another cardstock using the Ornate Laying Dies.
As the colors are rather missing a beautiful green for my leaves, I thought by embossing the greeting, from the Itty Bitty Greetings set, and mounting it on Silver helped.
What do you think of the Ornate Die? I rather like the details on it, do you?
I liked it so much I made my insert with it.
I have a friend, well a very old friend, not in age but in friendship and last year her husband passed away, I often worry about her. I really shouldn’t as she has her religion and is content.
I just thought this card perfect for her.
Thanks for visiting and now your off to see the rest of them, first how is Teneale enjoy.

Welcome to the INKspired blog hop, it has been an eventful week for me this week after taking my first trip in an ambulance after collapsing but I am healing and trying to take it easy. I am so happy I was organised and made my card for the blog hop a few weeks ago. It was a fun sketch. Continue reading
