Inkspired BlogHop 94

Hi and welcome to another InkSpired Bloghop, boy the weeks are rolling on, can you believe we are approaching Easter and then Anzac Day, however before that I have Teneale’s birthday, Easter, Terrianne Easter Sunday, so you might say I have a full month.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

From when I first saw this sketch I knew it would be a breeze.  I was able to use my favourite die on it, that’s the adorable little scallop die from the “Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.

I chose to use the Graceful Glass 6 x 6 Designer Vellum and colored on the back of it with Calypsol Coral Dark Blender and Dark Apple Green, then flipped them over and again colored with the darker shades, then used the lighter shade to get some shading happening.

Attached my vellum onto a piece of Whisper White which had been cut with the scallop on the bottom and I left a small edge on the top, then took a small strip of glitter paper, cut finely and attached above the scallop… All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack, contains the sweet ribbon trim, so wish I could have just bought that on its own, its so nice to use.

Using the stitched Rectangle Dies I cut out a piece in Flirty Flamingo and attached to Apple Green base, mounted onto thick Whisper White.

Hope I have inspired you to go coloring.

Now your off to visit Julie Martin, a new blog member, please leave her a message to give her some encouragement as she is very nervous.

BlogHop 93

Welcome and hop your had an enjoyable weekend, if your come from Alison’s blog I wonder what she has made for us.  Its always exciting to check out each others cards, its a way for us to grow and strengthen our skills.

This is the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with.  Personally I love sketch challenges and should do more of them, it also makes us stretch our imagination and create without copying other people.

I actually had forgotten about the blog hop, but had some stamps and dies sitting on my desk as I have classes on Friday, then combined classed with Teneale on Saturday and Sundays.  So needed to be thinking of what we are going to make.  Before bed, I was told that if you think your going out with your friends Mum, you need to let me know that your got your card made………………..lol how bossy is that.

Anyway I had loved the Dear Doily stamp and die set, which was one on my desk, I went to sleep thinking now I could quickly make a card with that, think it would fit the sketch.

I used the subtle embossing folder after I had stamped the blossom down one side.  I had taken my Stampin Write markers to the stamp.  I used Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink.

I then cut out the doily in powder pink and gray granite card stock as the strip down the side, trimmed with the beautiful dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I might tell you I only bought this set for that edge.  Now I love all the dies in the set……………its a keeper.

Here is the finished card, I told Teneale its a hot card, just like her Mumma…………………lol  I might add I wasn’t allowed to go play with my friends unless I had made it before I went out, so she could come and do my photography.  I am so so lucky that she looks after me so good.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Next your off to see what Teneale has made for you.  Your going to be blown out of your mind, its so beautiful.

InkSpired Blog Hop 92

Welcome to another InkSpired Blog Hop and my very first for 2019 with our team players.  If your started from one of the other players it most likely Alison and I wonder what she has created for us today.

Here is our sketch and lets go see where I am at with it.

I choose to use the Incredible Like you Stamp set, its a two step stamp set and the flower is very forgiving and so beautiful.  I used Berry Burst Cardstock and Inks, along with Lemon Lime Twist, and for the background I stamped in Versa Mark to give it a nice subtle look.

I love the greetings in this set as they are very versatile, I stamped this in Gray and used my 2″ punch to cut it out.

I flowers were hand cut and I used my leaf punch for vellum leaves.  I love punch’s, they are always so handy and right in front of my on my desk.

Did I say, I had attached the lemon to the Berry Burst cardstock then put it through the subtle embossing folder, then attached to a piece of whisper white and trimmed to a fine boarder.
Just one of the simple greetings inside and a couple of little flowers and we are done.

Your now off to see what Narelle has made for you.

Hello everyone, just thought I would pop in and let you all know that our 4th Saturday is starting this month. Some of my Friday ladies have already started their morning class and was so excited to be back at classes.

Our 4th Saturday falls on Australia Day, 26 January at 1.30pm, this same class in 2019 will be also running on the Sunday morning at 10am for anyone who cannot make the Saturday. So that means if you have to work, do sports, shopping or something else you still can.

Now as its Australia Day, I thought we might make something with an Australian Theme.

BlogHopping

Happy happy days are here, not sure where you started, but Allison is before me today, I love the fact that she always play and I love to see what she had done.

I have had a big couple of days stamping, Friday a class using the First Frost and if you have seen it, take a look at some of the cards make with it, its to die for, Saturday we had a whole day of Christmas Cards, 10 ladies, 250 cards, not a bad effort and so much fun.

Anyway here is our design this week, which I pondered on until this morning and then like a bolt of lightning, I knew which stamp set was meant for this sketch.

No automatic alt text available.

Here we go, I chose to use the Vertical Greetings Set, has been sitting on my self for a couple of years, loved it, had to have it.  Does that happen to you?

Using my Stamp N Write Markers I inked up the stamp in Georgous Grape for the flowers and Rich Razzleberry for the Pot, Mossy Meadow for the stem.  I stamped double and hand cut the Pot, then using two small circle punches punched out the flowers and mounted them onto the top of the first stamp.

For the next layer I choose paper for the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and put velum over the top.

I used Blackberry Bliss as my backing of the design embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder, attached to another piece of Blackberry Bliss and trimmed to a fine border.

Hope your day has been crafty fun and now your now off to see what Kozue

has made for us:

Hoppity do dah

Hi and Welcome to our bloghop for this fortnight.  Weeks are whizzing by and I only have one more bloghop before I am hopping off over to Orlando, how exciting.  I am also excited to see what Allison had prepared for us.

Here is our sketch for this week, quite an interesting layout.  Quite honestly I didn’t know what I was going to do.

Then the penny dropped, or something did, I have been helping prepare a day of card making with my up-line and part of it is to make 20 Christmas Cards in the day and go home to finish off another 20.  I decided to check what was in the pool of goodies left to be made up, we have already done 30 of them.

I took one of the Poppy Parade cardbases, a white card front, after cutting out my white circle from this front, I was then able to hide it with a card from the Santa and More pack, that’s the green piece, there were some strips left from other cards, so they become my strips.

In the kits we have put together, there is the beautiful designer papers, and this piece has flocking on it, trimmed and mounted onto my circle.

One of the cards that we had loved it and chopped it, Kylie’s favourite saying. so took the Merry Christmas stripped that had been chopped.

Wella, finished.  Love it, hope you do to.  Our class is running on the 13 October from 10.30 and there is just one spot left.

Here is a look at what we will be doing:

If you would like a kit, I am happy to sell one to you.

Your now off to see my partner in crime……………or upline………  Teneale
