Esad 2017/2018 Favourite

Welcome to the another of the ESAD Blog Hops, this one is to display our favourite item from the New 2017/2018 Annual Stampin, Up! Catalogue, if your come from another blog it was most likely Terri Hawke and I wonder what her favourite is?.

I found it hard to do choose as there are so many that I love, in the end I went with Climbing Orchard, even though I have loved the Marble Background Stamp.

This set has two orchard designs, one was stamped on Powder Pink Card stock using Berry Burst ink, both from the new in colors for 2017-2019.  The leaves were stamp on Lemon Lime Twist Card stock using the Lemon Lime Twist ink.

I rather love the branch out of the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, thought it gave another diminution to my projects.  I stamped the Enjoy today with  and then heat embossed using the beautiful Cooper embossing power.  It really pops, don’t you think?

I had stamped onto Crumb Cake Card stock and then added my orchards using Dimensional’s and glue dots.   Did you know Stampin’ Up now have mini Dimensional’s, they come in very handy with this project.

Keeping the theme of the same orchard, I used the Brick Wall embossing folder, smeared with Crumb Cake ink to get a motley effect on the wall and then using the same branch and flowers placed them in a small photo frame.

Such a great little frame to using with some of the Stampin’ Up! projects, as you can see in my photo.  Hope you like them.

I then moved onto the next orchid design in this set, wow can you believe you get so many flower sets in one stamp.

For this card I used Whisper White Cardstock, stamping down with the Berry Burst Ink, using a dabber to color each petal using Power Pink Ink, before cutting them out with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

I used the Petal Burst Embossing folder to give the white a background before attaching it to Berry Burst Card base.

Thanks for visiting and now your off to see what Kristal Rimmer has in store for you

Bloghop 59

Welcome everyone, I am rather all over the place at the moment, two weeks home and still trying to get into some sort of order, especially with my stamping.

If you have arrived from another blog, its most likely my good friend Maree, although I don’t seem to have heard from her very much lately, maybe she is off stamping to her hearts content.

Here is our design for this week, I loved it and knew straight away which set I was going to use.

I loved the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and thought that they would be great for this design,

I just love all the new stamps, dies and embossing folders, in this case I used the Pinewood Planks and sponged it with Shara Sand ink on Crumb Cake, wanted it to look like wood.  I mounted this onto a piece of Fresh Fig cardstock (love the new colors), and trimmed to a fine border.  Mounted then onto a Crumb Cake Cardstock.

I used the Fresh Fig to cut out two leaved and then using the outline leaved cut out two leaves in the Lemon Lime Twist, the centre leave I stamped (Colorful Seasons Stamp set) on the Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock with the same color cardstock then cut them out with the die.

All were then mounted onto a piece of the color theory designer services paper stack which had been mounted onto a piece of whisper white cardstock and trimmed with a fine border.

Next your off to check out what Teneale has made for you.

Stampin'Up! Demonstrator Barbara Williams | Birthday Card

As this post goes live I will be just started a cruise of the Mediterranean: I am very impressed that I was able to have my card made to still play along in the INKspired blog hop as I don’t like to miss the fun. Below is the sketch that Teneale has designed for us to create with.

I am loving my card, a fun birthday card with a vibrant colour combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Blast, Fresh Fig and Sweet Sugarplum.

Hi and Welcome to another bloghop, I am running rather late getting my post up as its been hectic this week with John being operated on and many doctors appointments.

If your arrived here from another blog, its most likely my friend Maree and she has also had her share of sick husbands this week.

Below is the sketch that we had, as soon as I looked at it I know what I wanted to do with one of the new stamps sets available in June.

I am in love with the new colors also available in June, your going to just love them.  There is Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide.

By Barbara Williams | Stampin' Up! Australia | Just Add Text Stamp SetI choose to use the Just add Text Stamp set, it fits the sketch so well.

Now I am off to pack, just one more doctor to see before I fly out in the afternoon.

Take care and see you in a fortnight, well not exactly, I have my blog post done and it will just run for me, how good is that.  Now you are heading off to see what Teneale has made for you.

Blog Hop 55

Welcome to this fortnight’s Bloghop, and my second one before I trip overseas with the Rooty Hill Rascals some know as the Golden Girls. I am most fortunate to be going to Portugal, Spain and Rome with them.

If your come from another participant it is most likely Maree and I am super excited to see what she has made for us.  Below is the sketch for this week.  What do you think?

Lets see what I have come up with?

I decided that I would use the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper as the base of the card, as I have loved it from the start and team it with Die out of the So in Love Bundle, called So detailed Thinlits Dies, I love love love all in this series.

I mounted the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper onto the Sahara Sand Cardstock and then mounted this again on to a Sahara Sand Cardbase.  I took the Anniversary wishes out of the set and using the Cooper Embossing powder embossed the greeting onto Sahara Sand, trimmed it then mounted it onto a piece of Copper.

On the inside I have just used the very vanilla cardstock and embossed a sentiment in Cooper.

Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you.

Blog Hop 54

Welcome to another Blog Hop of the Inkspired Artists, no 54 for who is counting. If you have arrived from fellow blogger, that would be my friend Maree and as she has been in Melbourne for the weekend, I wonder what she has for us.

This is the sketch that we have been given, I fumbled around with it and told my upline that it was the worst sketch she has ever given us………….am I bad.

A team member, then showed her card to encourage us, her name is Renee and the baby of our team.  She is so sweet and talented, so here is the sketch, lets see if I Nailed It.

I had used the Nailed It Bundle on Friday in Class, so thought why don’t I use that, by creating my own paper with the tools and then sponging the colours on it.  See what you think

Sponging seems to the flavour of the month, so have given it my best…………………..

I also used a small strip of the Urban Underground Speciality Designer Series Papers and very vanilla cardstock.

So not really sure that I nailed this sketch, so if not, “sorry I screwed UP”

Enjoy and now your off to see the most gorgeous card by Teneale.

Blog Hop 53

Welcome to yet another Inkspired Artists bloghop, you have most likely come from my friend Maree and I wonder what she has created for us today.

Great sketch that Teneale  has given us to work with, don’t you just love her work?

I decided to use the Birthday Blooms as my stamp set, its lovely to water color and always look great.  I used Watermelon Wonder as the main color for the flower and Delightful Dijon for the centres.  The leaves were colored with the Cucumber Crush, not a color that I have used a lot, however as it was St Patricks Day this week and there is a lovely young girl at work who is having a birthday in April and she is Scottish I thought it only fitting to make it for her.  Hope she likes it.
I have used the Cucumber Crush as the main card base and the paper is from the in color designer Series paper stack, which will be retiring this year.
Enjoy and don’t forget to leave a comment, even one word is fine.
Now your off to see what Teneale has made for you, I was lucky to see it and your going to love it.
